i just can't imagine a subtitled series(No Matter what it is)leading the block....they only air subtitled shorts for special events and they only aired subtitled shows as an april fools joke They'd be airing subs more often if they thought they'd do well on the block It perplexes me that while other streaming services promote themselves on tv....CR doesn't want to

it doesn't help that many companies already think cable tv is done so you can see a lot of networks turn into repetitive marathons

I'm Sure the toonami crowd would love chainsaw man so that really does suck

I'm not sure why crunchyroll was always so difficult to work with...even under WM what the hell did they have against mob psycho 100 S2 airing on toonami?

not sure if I'd call it a fetish but they do seem to love FLCL more than anyone else i didn't see many people clamoring for more after FLCL Progressive and alternative

I Think Once he started venting about Netflix acquiring Jojo Part 6 that Him calling out sony was inevitable he's grown more and more frustrated over streaming services locking toonami out of so much content and i guess he just can't keep the anger to himself

which is funny looking back on it because everyone's wanting to get a piece of that anime pie(even Disney had previously announced some anime stuff for D+)and because WM had to sell off CR to stay afloat they have to step away from that market

the hbo max sub reddit has a post from someone noting that's all 17 anime shows that debuted with hbo max back in may 2020 and now they are set to leave on the 26th

I Just want more stuff for me to look forward to on toonami....but right now that's just AC(which only has a couple episodes left)and lupin Naruto is usually background noise for me

i mean one piece at it's core just isn't good at 1-2 episodes per week you need to watch more than that...especially when you factor in flashbacks and what I'd like to call "Super Padding" If i had a dollar for every time there was a pointless crowd shot featuring comments from the nameless peanut gallery I'd probably be filthy rich and I'm not joking

yeah and as such i had no issues binge watching it back then....but now i regret it when i already know how things play out and how bad the pacing gets i have no desire to go through it again

i regret binge watching this years ago because now I'm just left with an hour of toonami content i couldn't be bothered to watch not only because it's very old to me but because I'm well aware of this story arc's crap pacing but how was i suppose to know one day this would return?...maybe i should have

thing about bleach's return is would enough people(Nielsen viewership wise...anyways)tune into it to make toonami saving up funds just to throw it at that worth it?

Yeah That will be the real test as we don't know how many companies think like toei and would jump at the chance to be featured on american television....

I'm not sure how likely bleach is considering we're in that spot where toonami can't exactly outbid anyone for what they want if someone else shows interest in bleach chances are they'll get it....as for MHA how many Japanese Producers would jump at the chance to have a show on toonami? I'm only aware of Toei's feelings about Cable TV In The United states(Possibly TMS Too since I've heard once or twice that they had been eager to push lupin to be more popular in america)

not demarco's fault it's either nobody wants to work with toonami anymore or The WM/Discovery Merger has resulted in an even smaller budget for toonami that second one would explain why demarco has not tried to reassure people about the new schedule and has instead pretended like it wasn't even announced now would be the perfect time to calm fans down but instead he merely talked about the conclusion of shenmue the animation and that's it....

I Hope That's not what's causing this

I'm not saying they should blow through them but if the budget is struggling not to run out by may then I Gotta ask how much have they already spent this year? They Shouldn't be that low on funds already

i could understand them having some problems late in the year but it's may and if they are already struggling with the budget then that's depressing nobody wants a repeat of what happened last year
