most of the guys in naruto act like selfish dicks or insane assholes at this point I'm not sure why that's a trait people look up to but it seems to be

it says a lot about america when their favorite anime is the one with the braindead protagonist who would give his opponent a fighting chance just because he's from a race of insane bloodlusting warriors that hunger for the fight

i just feel like a majority of naruto characters either aren't that interesting or they are complete assholes....really there's nothing i can say about the most recently introduced characters they leave no impact on me and i have no reason to remember them everything just boils down to "Dark Gritty Backstory where I'm Validated for my bullshit behavior"

and television suffers because of it....

i ask because months and months of Whiny Bitchy Emo Sasuke doesn't appeal to me and yet somehow people just eat that shit up

i just never got into naruto as much as one piece because a lot of the characters seemed rather dull or in Sasuke's case annoying as all shit(Oh Look at me I'm The Goddamn Emo Anime Batman!) i liked one piece ending off the night of premieres because it was an action/comedy show it wasn't over the top "Edge Lord" Serious and so it was easy to wind down with the show however while there is some comedy in naruto it's few and far between compared to one piece and a lot of the time is way too freaking serious for something You'll be seeing before you head to bed

are there big uber popular naruto story arcs on par with One Piece's Marineford?(I.E An Arc that puts butts in seats)

I Can't wait for everyone to shit post about tokyo ghoul and for it's ratings to be in the dumpster

it's just frustrating because you try to get everyone into other anime but they keep crawling back to DBZ and that's one nobody shuts the hell up about

i doubt toonami gives a crap at this point people are gonna watch no matter what the schedule is the removal of one piece was dropped on them out of the blue so i honestly doubt they've been thinking that hard about what they are gonna do about the schedule probably don't have time to when it comes to thinking about the future of the block and how can you win over the fans of one piece who now feel betrayed because The Nielsen Boxes deemed one piece too risky and not enough of a profit Tokyo Ghoul isn't gonna win anyone over unless they just like Edgy Emo Stuff

that's still a long ways away....and even though some say it might come back differently I'd prefer if it didn't go so far that it skips marineford entirely it's depressing that samurai jack can get reruns aired on a wednesday night for the final season but none of the toonami anime's could get that treatment....even DBZ! I'd imagine one piece would be doing better if they reran the previous episode on a weeknight(Maybe Tuesday?) anime's never gonna have premieres again on the weekdays but maybe reairing the most recent episode on a weeknight would do some good more people are probably watching television on the weekday than the weekend since the weekend gives them other things to do and honestly they wouldn't be stuck in front of the tv

let's just admit that one piece wasn't for the average american viewer and leave it at that they need explosions and lots of action scenes...otherwise it's boring

it also heps it has lots of explosions and action...something that americans require to care about any show

what if HXH's ratings start dipping horribly and they are forced to remove it? should we hit the panic button then?

doesn't really matter i have no real urge to watch them with Super being fresh and new I'll watch it for awhile but unlike with super there's no rush....hell The Start of super basically spoils DBZ Kai FC so there's no real need to watch and see what happens

Samurai Jack And DBZ Super are the only things putting butts in seats everything else kinda differs from week to week(hit or miss kinda)but those two are probably what will be the most important shows going forward

how many times has toonami removed a show due to poor ratings in the past?

i honestly think the hype for AOT on Toonami has died since the long wait for S2 began

heh it's quite alright... I Just wish JMan would get off my case about this I'm just pissed because my favorite show on the block got cut and he takes that to mean it's just not for americans and toonami should never have picked it up in the first place I'm so close to just dumping toonami at this point...If you were like me and only Cared About Sam Jack/DBZ Super You'd probably stop watching too

if they wanna watch sasuke cry for half an hour and try desperately to be anime batman then yeah i think they might be stupid there's nothing intelligent or entertaining about Sasuke Focused Naruto episodes....

yeah i guess it doesn't make any sense but considering at this point all the shows except DBZ Super And Samurai Jack Suck Complete ass.....making sense is probably the last thing i can do After Jojo Leaves i just have Sam Jack And DBZ Super left to entertain me that isn't enough to keep me on board

though i do not want Demarco and crew to get cocky and think they'll still be around in 2 years things can change quickly....so you have to be cautious and make the right moves when necessary and not just wait and hope there's enough time to get another powerhouse show that can make people forget the loss of one piece because really what's there to watch after Jojo Leaves? I've already seen DBZ Kai from it's time being spammed on nicktoons network I've kinda gotten lost in the plot of Gundam Unicorn so that one's not one i look forward to much Naruto is just sasuke and friends at this point...and i really hate sasuke I Feel Like DBZ Super And Samurai Jack is all i care about at this point HXH just got on my nerves with the heavens arena story arc....so by the time the city arc began i was already done....nothing it's doing is really making me super hyped to give it a second chance so I'm just kinda watching it from the sides and half paying attention when it's on

and I'm sure It'll gain at 1:30 AM..... I'm not sure why it gained when practically everyone here can see that naurto for months has been terribly boring "Emo Sasuke And Friends" do people really like Naruto Filler that much? do they really like Sasuke Whining and bitching about everything....because that's what we've had for several months now it seems Sasuke Crying And Moping along with his ragtag team of idiots Naruto himself is barely relevant in his own series these past couple of months...in a show called naruto! instead we're dealing with His Man-Crush Sasuke and seeing why he's such a dark brooding asshole that fangirls love to gush about him despite him being one of the worst characters on the show

Yes Because I'm sure people will flock to their tv screens to watch Tokyo Ghoul AKA Edge Lord The Animated Series replacing one piece with a show that tries desperately to be adult with all the darkness and horror and cannibalism....seems a bit laughable No Other Network would kick down the doors over poor ratings on a show airing in the middle of the damn night what are they gonna do when naruto preforms just as badly if not worse in that very same time slot? are they gonna remove it too and shorten the block any anime with actual stories tend to get ignored in the favor of the meat head shows that are all flash and no substance they want constant explosions and fight scenes any time there's slow down or a long period where characters are just talking that's when people tune out they want nothing but action flying at them every other second
