  1. it's still bizarre to see MHA ending a night of adultswim monday to friday
  2. i really doubt recording from home would ever be a viable alternative to studio dubbing there's just too much slowdown involved to continue doing it outside this pandemic
  3. the major question is what can they possibly snag to replace MHA in the front spot? realistically you can't just shove whatever in as the leader of the pack
  4. don't doubt anything....this is 2020 you gotta remember that the world isn't normal...not even close to it i think what many people don't realize is that this isn't just a minor nuisance that will fade away it's here and it's gonna be here for the long haul we just have to figure some way to co-exist with this virus in a safe manner
  5. problem is toonami's never had to deal with a global pandemic before....this is a new situation for everyone involved and it's not going away anytime soon the dub process has slowed down drastically as a result of the transition from studio to home recording and with Japan's 2020 being uncertain due to covid-19 many shows that would have premiered this year won't and will be put on the shelf temporarily until conditions are safer so i imagine the best question to ask at this time is...do you think conditions are safe enough for dub studios to open back up and for animators(not just in japan but everywhere else)to return to HQ because until conditions are safer things will remain as they are
  6. it's moved onto the sports festival(season 2)and is still at 4:30 AM for me no real changes
  7. mario themed card decks can be unlocked
  8. it all depends on how the covid-19 pandemic progresses in japan..... nobody's really confident things will be back to normal until a vaccine comes out(which would be a long time from now.....so if toonami has to stall until then...well toonami is screwed)
  9. still it doesn't seem like the budget's in a good spot for 2020 considering we've only had a single new show(SAO Underworld) and there's been no word on anything to look forward to in the near future there's been no indication that we're getting anything new for the rest of the year since a lot of plans across the entertainment industry have had to change due to covid-19
  10. Do you really believe him though? i mean no network has really managed to salvage this situation caused by the pandemic(especially not the major ones) so it seems unlikely toonami would do any better...
  11. do you think we'll eventually reach a point where it's entirely reruns or do you think it won't get that bad?
  12. yeah and as a result i wouldn't be surprised if we see DB Super reruns replace MHA S4
  13. regardless the studios will postpone the movies as long as they have to...because to them settling for "On Demand" is a lame cereal prize that can't take the place of theater cash
  14. i really wish there were more shops in the game....the island just feels empty when it's just nook's cranny and able sisters as the only functioning businesses on the island
  15. eh it depends...many studios are still confident that theaters will reopen this year which is why mulan and black widow have not been pushed back to 2021
  16. normally You'd use a marathon when people aren't gonna be home or you need to stall for time for new show(s) neither of those are really happening right now....most people are at home 24/7 now and with the budget slashed it's unlikely toonami's thinking about new shows anytime soon
  17. yeah i think it's safe to say there will be no marathon....there was no mention of one recently or even a promo for a marathon during toonami
  18. nook's cranny upgraded shop opened for me yesterday
  19. it all depends on how Japan deals with the virus in the coming weeks and months
  20. and everyday we come closer to just jumping out our windows while screaming "there's no hope" it's truly a terrible time to be alive isn't it?
  21. Your point seemed to be "this won't last forever and things will be back to normal eventually" but will they?...after Covid-19 dominated the world and news headlines will all animation studios and dub studios just simply return to business as usual instead of working differently due to what's been happening i assume that's why elfie has doubts on funimation's simuldubs continuing in the same fashion
