    do they really have a choice at this point to be so picky about the first slot? it's not like they have a lot of amazing popular choices on the table due to the current situation slapping a rerun on that first slot(no matter what it is)would be really stupid

    the toonami sub-reddit clearly is a dumpster fire....made one comment about how me and my mother are struggling to avoid a trip to the store(since we both have asthma and she has MS)by improvising however we can with what's left food wise only for someone to say "oh you poor baby clearly your burden is the heaviest of all...having to eat mediocre food that must be the worst thing to ever happen to anyone i do weep for you"

    i do remember....we're almost into may and the only new show We've picked up this year has been SAO War of Underworld Part 1(which has concluded and it's next part has been delayed until they can get a handle on the corona virus in japan) this block isn't an enticing one at this point....and demarco has to realize that

    it's too bad black clover has shutdown production until an unknown date....so chances are even with at home recording they'll catch up easily

    July is a placeholder date it's not set in stone....especially not with corona virus still going strong I'd be surprised if black clover resumed production by then and even more surprised if any delayed shows actually came out this year

    i don't really have much confidence in toonami's ability to improvise during the pandemic

    at some point i feel like toonami has to realize covid-19 isn't going away anytime soon.....especially with some experts claiming the worst has yet to come and the winter could potentially be deadlier i doubt many people would keep watching toonami if the block just became nothing but reruns and unfortunately that could very well be the case if toonami can't dig into anyone's backlog this is a serious problem and i feel like some companies just think they can wait out the virus like it's gonna vanish in a few months

    why does it seem like toonami's plan is "Reruns until this covid-19 situation blows over"? i honestly think that's what it is and if that's the case....that's pretty stupid because this isn't going away anytime soon so i hope they aren't depending on reruns to carry the block until a treatment or cure

    even if they become overrun with an ungodly amount of new cases and deaths?....we won't even be without anime and manga for a month if what you say is true and for the second part i haven't really noticed much aside from talk shows and skit shows like SNL doing the recording from home here in the united states so what else is being recorded from home?
