I'm not sure how you'd even fit that into toonami unless it's over the top ice skating in the way that food wars was over the top wacky food battles we have to remember first and foremost toonami is an action block true there are always some shows that pop up that aren't action themed but those are in the minority and the majority of major shows that toonami picks up are action themed most importantly this isn't the cw where they can air whatever progressive shows they want without consequences this is still adultswim which shares a channel with cartoon network and they do have to appease advertisers sad to say a show like Yuri On Ice probably wouldn't make them happy at all a reason why we never saw the Fujiko Mine Lupin series(because it was too risky for american television...)

is it actually more positive than i remember? because i watched it long ago on adultswim and what i can remember is dreary and dark it doesn't mesh well with the rest of the block when you see how the other shows at least have some sense of hope and positivity i doubt anyone has ever used either of those words to describe Paranoia agent

no word on Episode 85 Of MHA....so chances are likely Cowboy bebop will be the lead show after next week

i mean it's either food wars or more reruns...

at least food wars is just a show of over the top food battles and has it's own sense of comedic wackiness thrown in PA is just hopeless despair and horrid nightmares hopping from that to Asta screaming for his friends in black clover is nuts

i just think dreary depressing shows clash hardcore with the modern toonami block...

seems like a poor choice since covid-19 already has people feeling depressed enough as it is....we don't need a show that's so dreary and dark that it could make it's own nightmares

Seasons 3-5 have it's rights controlled by a different company than Seasons 1-2

honestly i fear toonami will be left with just reruns before the year is over

i had an opposite reaction to the demo which is why i downloaded it

this time next week no more food gasms and instead "screaming death despair and hopeless ness" ya know...what we really need during a time when people are stressed out

true but we have streaming services now and if toonami became nothing but reruns there's little reason for anyone to keep checking in every week if there's no originals or dub premieres

i mean it's not like people will give away food for free forever plus eventually people will have to pay bills...and when they can't due to no job that means they are literally left in the dark

as long as people are watching but if the block becomes a run of the mill rerun factory then it'll be as depressing as those empty arena wwe shows where most of it is promo's and old match replay's

no matter what he says if it comes down to the block being reruns it doesn't matter if he says toonami's here to stay....if less and less people are watching that becomes the deciding factor

i mean at least food wars had it's own wacky charm that made it easy to slide in....PA however is just bleak and dark something we don't really need currently....when the world is suffering from a pandemic do we really need to watch Paranoia agent?

do you honestly think he'd say "Yeah We're Screwed" if they really were no because that would be bad pr...no company ever tells you "everything sucks" when they aren't doing well

true but if the block eventually becomes nothing but reruns...I Don't think anyone will be too hyped to watch it every week no matter the circumstances that led to that situation

what sucks is PA clashes so much with the rest of the block....not in a good way it's such a depressing show and dreary that it's hard to transition from that into black clover

barely anyone on my ps4 friends list has been seen playing this....

starting tomorrow toonami begins at 11:00 PM in my time zone....
