okay, i watched the damn thing again. it was still just okay. the cinematography was cool. as was the fight choreography. (especially the throne room scene) it definitely had its moments. unlike some, i actually liked luke's character arc. still. leia poppins space witch was a definite shark jump. laura dern's character made some deeply stupid choices. and the whole canto bright thing was trying way too hard to tack on a social justice message. oh, and rose falling in love with finn felt like it came out of left field. first viewing 6/10 second viewing... 6/10.

overpriced. not even as good as subway.

when i drink shitty beer i drink BL platinum. not because it's low cal, but because it's 6% abv. and i'm all about getting hammered on the cheap.

to be fair, though. none of those would really translate well to film. hard boiled wonderland and the end of the world, on the other hand, should have been made years ago.
