I mean 15k is nothing just about anywhere you go if you're by yourself. But 30k in my state can get you a decent 1 bedroom apartment in a decent area of you live somewhat frugally. My first place was a 700 square foot one bedroom in a good suburb 20 minutes outside the city and I was still able to eat out and go to the movies and stuff on occasion. I was making ~30k a year. The Midwest is dirt cheap though. A lot of people like to rag on it but I'm happy here.

Standard of living? Do you mean cost of living? I'd love to make 45k a year I made like 32k last year and got by alright 45 would be amazing.

Rubbed the mattress down with vinegar and water then left some baking soda on it for awhile. Seemed to get the smell out. Everything else went through the wash and other than my mattress protector the smell came out. Scrubbed that down with vinegar and water and gonna wash it again.

My cat wouldn't even make a good meal anyway he's too small muscley it would be really tough. My other cat, however, is a bit chubby he'd probably taste a lot better.

Had to take him to the vet and he got a little stressed out when we tried to get him in the carrier. Didn't notice until just now. Yuck.

Actually I'm not sure if the wi-fi reaches that far. Should reach to the laundry room but that's technically a communal space so you'd have to be careful. Also my rent is only $850

900 a month for a storage closet?

When we moved in back in June they told us AT&T was going to be bringing fiber to the building "soon". Took awhile but they finally finished everything last week.

U can move in to my building we don't have a spare bed so u can just sleep in the laundry room or something it's right outside our door so u can sneak in real quick if someone comes. Or u can sleep in our storage unit with all the Christmas decorations if u move stuff around a bit u may have room to sit down. But u can use all the wi-fi u want I'll only charge u $900 a month.
