Seems like I always go weeks without having hiccups at all and then all of a sudden I'll have a day where I get them 6 times. There is no in between.

Oh, how lovely. Apartment inspection in 2 days.

I guess yearly makes slightly more sense than monthly, which was the first thing that came to my mind when you mentioned "inspections" just because of my experience at my last job. Hm. Wonder which city it is...<_< -

I've lived in Ohio my whole life and have never had inspections in any of the apartments I lived in. At my last job as a social worker they inspected people's apartments every month but that that was because it was housing for people who had been homeless for a long time and making sure they were keeping it clean was part of the process of helping them successfully transition to housing, like I think they got to skip a month after so many months without any problems. -
i actually got a phone number and it's a real one :o

The new chicken tenders from McDonald's Or when I want to eat my entire day's worth of calories in one meal, a Stack from Moe's (imagine a Crunchwrap Supreme and make it like 100 times better).

Been trying since like, last September. It's hard with just a Bachelor's to find something that pays as much as I make now. Don't know if I can afford to go back to school right now or if I'd even have time given my schedule. I work 2-10pm and sometimes I like to go into work early since I'm part-time and need the extra hours.

I mean that is actually a problem sometimes at my job.

I want them to last awhile though. I have leg length discrepancy and am planning on sending these out to this place that will build the shoe up to help even out my legs. It's not cheap so I want something that will last.

Parts of it are. It's a state job so it pays pretty well, and for the most part it's a pretty chill job. But with it being a residential facility it's open 24/7/365. Right now I'm stuck working 2nd shift and I work most weekends and holidays. Also sometimes clients can get violent. I've only ever had minor injuries but some people have to go out for weeks or even months due to injuries from clients. Saw one girl get her shoulder dislocated once.

Direct care worker at a residential facility for people with disabilities. AKA glorified babysitter/ass wiper. We have 11 houses we operate on our campus and depending on where I'm working I may or may not have to wipe people's asses but the normal house I'm assigned to I do since all but one of the clients that live there is pretty low functioning. But then some of the houses all the clients are higher functioning and take care of themselves and even take care of all the house chores like cleaning up and making dinner. So when I work on one of those houses I basically get paid to sit around and watch TV/look at my phone all day and occasionally redirect a client when they start getting mad about something or don't want to do what they're supposed to be doing.

I can't decide.

Carpet everywhere except the kitchen and bathroom, which have tile. They replaced the carpet right before we moved in though so it at least it looks fairly clean and can be vacuumed easily. Carpet at my last apartment had clearly been through several tenants and didn't really look any different when I vacuumed it. I don't really mind it, my feet get cold on the tile in the winter anyway. Though when I get a house I'd prefer hardwood with a nice rug. Speaking of vacuuming, I need to do it today.

can you listen an album too many times?
Swimmod_Luna replied to Drunkenwarrior's topic in Free-For-All
Nah dog from like 8th grade up until 11th grade I literally listened to nothing on my iPod other than Pink Floyd. They only have like 13 albums and I listened to my iPod on the bus to and from school every day so you'd better believe I listened to that shit a lot.
