The thing isn't making more money than others, it's making decent money AND loving your job. Rumor is that they're changing our job titles. Going from "Sr. Analyst" to "Data Scientist", I guess. But nothing beats "Zone Head" from my first (hourly) employer!

Not much time to be here anymore since my Father died. Not only do I have a lot to take care of on the personal side, but work has been tough. A team member died of cancer in Dec. and was not replaced. My boss's Uncle died and her Mom just had a stroke. Another team member's Uncle died and she just put her Mom in hospice. Another team member is on vacation and retires at the end of the month, reducing the team to 4 until Sept when yet another retires. So there's been a lot of covering for each other, including weekend systems babysitting. Neither retiree will probably be replaced and we have enough work for 10. Seems like when I do try to pop on here, the site is down. When I'm able to get on and look around, it's SSDD.

Every "On a very special..." episode. WKRP in Cincinnati (syndication after the music licensing ran out) - some of the songs were pertinent to the plot/joke and when they had to drop the songs - anyone watching that had never seen the original was completely lost.

Saw it coming about midway through the season. Hawks had no answer when their puck carrier was challenged, they either panicked or tried to force a pass. Couple that with bad special teams & it was amazing they took the Conference, if it wasn't for the Minn collapse, they wouldn't have come close to taking the Division. I haven't heard anything yet about guys playing injured. The "D" looked old & slow, Toews lost a step (he was coming off an injury, ankle or something). Seemed like everyone else, other than Kane, was non-existent. Shut down Kane, shut down the Hawks. Time for Bowman to work some magic - he was royally po'd at the presser.
