A friend DJ'd at a college town bar in the 80s. I'd hang out in the "crow's nest" with him. One night, nobody was dancing and nothing he threw on seemed to have any effect. I was tossing suggestions...I think "Time Warp" was the only thing that got a few people moving (actually doing the Time Warp) and as soon as it ended, everyone just went back to standing around & ignoring the music.
