Well, there is a drawback for me. Still job hunting - I worry about getting an interview somewhere and bringing something malevolent home to my Mom, who's on O2. Then I worry about not getting any interviews...at all.

It was. Landlord lived off-site, but was thankfully very responsive. Still, I didn't really want to climb in that tub even after we'd washed it down with clorox.

Not even if the fecal matter of everyone starts backing up your toilet & tub/shower? My first apt in Chicago had that happen & we were on the second floor. I dread thinking what the first floor was like.

Any plumber will tell you, they're not really flushable. Yes they'll go down, but you'd better not have any roots in exterior pipes. And I've heard that the city water reclamation services really hate them.
