Maybe Putin will start seeing Nazis everywhere, including in his own cabinet, and go the "Ramos Clemente" route.

The problem is that Trump didn't come out of nowhere and isn't globally popular. I can only think of one person that comes close to those factors and I'm hoping I'm way off the mark.

https://www.gocomics.com/nonsequitur/2022/09/30 Back story - Wiley once had a wide distribution in a number of newspapers. He mistakenly put "F*ck Trump" in the margin of a panel of one of his comics and forgot to remove it before sending it in (I think it was around the holidays & he had a bunch of family in-house). Whoever was supposed to proof his stuff missed it and it even made it into some papers. It's been years since then and he's still not in print in many places.

As a weatherman used to say down there - "JAPDIP".

Who's playing dumb? I'm merely saying that if you excise the entire musical portion, change the lyrics and just tack on a different refrain or some extra flourish, you aren't sampling. Hendrix "Star Spangled Banner", not sampling. Vanilla Ice excising the baseline riff from "Under Pressure", sampling (and annoying). Even further back than the 60s. there's the whole composer's doing "Variations on a theme by [some other composer]" thing. Which is similar to a Jazz musician riffing on some previously recorded song. I still haven't picked out where The Verve's "Bittersweet Symphony" is sampling ""Last Time" by the Rolling Stones. But it isn't one of my favorite Stones songs anyway.

Exactly how is that song a "sample"? He uses the entire musical portion, not just a "sample".

The guy that ripped off Stevie Wonder's "Pastime Paradise", then got upset when Weird Al ripped off "Gangsta Paradise" to make "Amish Paradise".

It was in the fine print of the votes they cast to become part of Russia.

Not sure about the Russian business model: First we're going to piss a bunch of people off at us by conscripting them into a hot war. Then we're going to hand them loaded weapons or put them in armed tanks.

96% of the 18% they were successful in coercing into voting.

In another video taken by a Russian soldier, he showed the AKs they were given...all rusty.

And ABC reported they're showing the residents what box to check...
