  1. Tell me about it. The bank account is crying.
  2. I think disco gave Quakers some meal kit code a few weeks ago that we got from an order from JC Penny. I think. We cook pretty much every meal. Sometimes we cheat and go pick up a pizza. Before the pandemic that is.
  3. Demented would be the negative, but not to a gruesome extent. More like, someone who laughs when someone falls down, or when someone gets injured. (See Funniest Home Videos for those sorts of videos). While I find them funny, some people see no humor in them. Like my wife. It takes a demented sense of humor sometimes to make you feel alive.
  4. Charismatic. Funny. Tough. Demented. Confident. Thrown into the body of a Peter Dinklage doppelganger.
  5. I have yet to try Korean BBQ, but I hear it is awesome. I'd like to try it, then try to make it.
  6. Delivery.
  7. Just realized I don't have my color anymore. Then immediately remembered this is an alt. Lot more colorful names now.
  8. I'm still making sauces and marinades and dressings. So far, Ranch dressing, BBQ sauce, honey mustard, marinara sauce, spaghetti sauce. Disco makes Hollandaise sauce, and jerk ketchup. We have made butter and sour cream. Just trying to make these things to prevent buying some mass produced stuff. Homemade is always better.
  9. Amen.
  10. You just haven't found the right toaster oven.
  11. Goddamnit. All of that food looks like its sick.
  12. i prefer eating at home. I have found that our cooking is far superior to any food we can get out. Including ethnic cuisine. Namely, Mexican, Indian and Italian.
  13. Yep. Disco and I said that earlier. Let Sawdy be a mod. We deserve that.
  14. Awe. You're gonna make me blush.
  15. Well, these aren't Milk Duds here. They just closely resemble them.
  16. Edge. Not only one of the greatest tag team champions of all time, but also a former WWE champion and Hall of Famer.
  17. Seriously, @Raptorpat, if you're looking for mods, and can't decide, make a poll with the most reputable people. The ones who have never been banned, caused too much trouble, courteous. Use the poll to help make the decision. I've been banned so many times. I need more nice mods.
  18. You'd make a good mod.
  19. I vote for discole. Or monade.
  20. You're really not missing much there.
  21. Far as humidity goes, I am fucked. I live in southeast Georgia. There's no such thing as dry air here. I forgot to mention I also have a brick pit. It needs a little work on it to get it back to the proper condition, but for the most part, it's ready to go. I'm not to happy about it's current location in the yard. Gonna have to borrow a friend's backhoe to move it. The wood stove is cool too. I might have one of those laying around somewhere. We have so much shit in the shops and outside of them, I forget what we have.
  22. I found peach wood at Walmart. It smells just like a peach when you open the bag. I have a big metal smoker. Well, two of them, and a vertical smoker for smaller things. I was looking at a pull behind a while back. It was a little less than 4K, and I almost got it, but I figured disco would kill me if I came home with it. The only thing I don't have is a pellet smoker. I just bought a flat top. 4 burner. We have a gas grill and a charcoal grill. About a dozen fryers. We have a small outdoor arsenal. I lucked up a couple of months ago. I went to the butcher and asked if he had brisket. He had one and he had ordered choice brisket and paid for choice, but they sent him prime brisket. Which is a hell of a lot more expensive, since prime is top of the line. So, I got the whole brisket for $65, the price of choice. I jumped on that. And I bought a case of jowl which is about 80 pounds. It's enough to last a year. Spent around $100 on that.
  23. What? This is like the first thread I've seen from you. In fact, I didn't even know you existed until just now.
  24. Nice. I smoke brisket, roast for roast beef, Boston butts, hams, turkeys, jowl, etc. I bought a pork belly one time and smoked it. It was ok. What we do is smoke hog jowl and once it's done smoking, slice it thinly and fry it, and it makes the best bacon. Talking about wood for the smoker, I have found that I am very fond of peach wood.
