  1. Was Leonard Nemoy a bigger jerk than William Shatner?

Taco Bell. I live in PA. You live in CA. Don't judge me for not having many options for not being near Mexico.

Tacos are too neat. Gotta be sloppy, like Arbys.
  4. I just learned that this was Shatner's first big event since the start of the pandemic. In fact, it was the most crowded event I went to since then.
  5. You tell me. You're the big trekkie here. I could have just heard wrong.
  6. lol, of course this shit's gonna fucking suck; too many truly disgusting pig Westerners involved.
  7. I heard Leonard Nemoy was a much bigger dick.
  8. Why not?
  9. I'm just gonna say round, as most square pizzas I've had were frozen. In fact, I imagine most square pizzas are indeed frozen. As for drink color, red. Red wine, spiced ales, and even cola has a reddish tinge.
  10. Fortunately, in my state PA, Biden's goal of having at least 70 percent of adults get at least one shot has already been met. I also think the average comic con goer probably has more faith in science, and thus is more likely to be vaccinated than the national average. As for me, despite already being vaccinated, I'll just continue wearing my mask until the end of this month, when the state mask advisory is completed lifted.
  11. No longer a requirement if vaccinated. Only about 20 percent of people at the convention were wearing masks, and less than 60 percent of Americans are fully vaccinated . . . yet I'm fully vaccinated and still wore my mask, lol I don't think most people care at this point.
  12. Indeed. The soup nazi from Seinfeld was also there. I should have taken a picture of him too. He aged rather gracefully.
  13. Neither, it was just meant to summon him.
  14. Because that's the name that got popularized in the West, I guess? Akitas are called Akita inus in Japanese, but nit in English.
  15. Yeah, he's 51. I didn't realize he was that old. Kinda was shocked.
  16. I didn't get close to anyone since it cost money and I'm a broke bitch. Walter Jr. from Breaking Bad Matt Lillard And @ghostrek
  17. 6000 dollars on average in my area. Fuck. When I got my shiba inu in 2006, he cost 1.5k, and even that was a bit steep for a dog at the time. No wonder why dog thefts are on the rise. Of course, this demand is mostly due to the pandemic and won't last . . . meaning many of these dogs will eventually be euthanized. 😭
  18. Not hiding behind a shitty passive aggressive alt. huge ups
  19. Perhaps. I also dabbled in IPA before, so . . . The symbols for th aren't intuituve for most people, I think.
  20. English IPA is more like 30 or 40 something letters (don't remember the exact number), but I do see your point. I'm just biased toward all of English's quirks, and I would be kinda saddened to see it drastically change. I feel like such a nerd for being able to read that without looking anything up. 🙃
  21. Ok . . . interesting, but pedantic. The fact of the matter is that the Chinese writing system requires memorization of thousands of characters. English only requires knowledge of 26, but of course in hundreds of combinations to produce its phonemes. Up until the third grade, about half the time in Chinese school is used to learn the writing system. The same is not true for English (or just about any other language, for that matter).
  22. Just awful. It should only be used as it is now; to learn pronunciations of individual words in dialects of languages. English spelling sucks, but it's nowhere near as cumbersome as Chinese characters. We are able to communicate easily through writing with other speakers of various English dialects, and one reason is that our spellings of words don't match the pronunciations. I think completely switching to IPA would further complicate things.
  23. The International Phonetic Alphabet IPA already exists although it's only used by linguists. English would have a lot of schwas if written that way. ə
  24. His ex meth junkie boyfriend
  25. That doesn't answer my question: WHY are you thinking about alcohol related things?
