It already hit mine. Twenty-four years ago, my then-eleven year old came home from school with the news that they'd been on lockdown. A seventh grader brought a handgun, ammo, and a kill list to school. Fortunately, he told a friend, who told a teacher, and they were able to get his knapsack (where he'd put everything) away from him without incident. This was twenty-four years ago. So much has changed. Why is this still the same?
