I don't know if it belongs here because it didn't really include anything about the modern LGBT experience, but a long time ago I read a book called Spaceman Blues: A Love Song. It was about a man searching for his lost lover, who was also a man. Really fantastic book. A little different, if i recall it was in present tense or something weird like that. But enjoyable.

Goodkind did an amazing job with the first 3 to 4 SOT books, but god did they get dull when they turned into libertarian essay collections. And i enjoy reading good essays. Rothfuss is all around better. Hands down. Goodkind introduced me to fantady, but Rothfuss is amazing.

I read slowly, usually one book at a time. I have ADD so i can't read any certain way by trying. If i try to read quickly i ruin the experience and can't enjoy it. So i leisurely let myself get absorbed into a book and then read obsessively until I'm done with that book. It's also amazing how much more one can get absorbed into a book whilst high.
