More structure i guess. It's all self driven and I'm lazy af, so it's a constant battle with myself to make sure I'm not fucking myself over by being a lazy sack of shit. A raise would be nice. But i think wages are too low on average and the only way to rectify that is restore the power of unions. Weak unions means poorer working conditions for all workers. Stronger unions would definitely fix that. I'm lucky now though. Before my promotion, I'd say we need better options for keeping cool in triple digit heat, better options for protecting ourselves from customers including cameras on site, and probably some other things to keep employees safe.

If i didn't have to do it and instead got paid to sit around and play games and read books and smoke weed. That would be way better.

Funny enough, i started singing this song after the incident mentioned in my previous post.

On the last full moon we had, the lady at CVS told us she knew it was a full moon because of all the sirens. Sure enough we passed 2 firetrucks and an ambulance, for a separate issue, on the way home. I'm a skeptic, but i did think it was funny.

IHSS (in-home supportive services) does the same thing during orientation. There was a big fight over me not claiming hours i didn't work with my gfs family. I'm sorry, but I'm not fucking around with fraud.

I imagine you wouldn't be able to work in anything that isn't making license plates for a few years.

Even with all that i feel like you should get paid more. It seems like your job is important.
