Not seen SDF Macross before (and can't legally thanks to Harmony Gold's iron fist), but I've also never seen their hackjob which is easily available on Crunchyroll, so... Robotech 1-6 For an 80's dub this is not that bad. On the nose? Yes, but not unwatchable. Thing moves at one hell of a pace too. Might pirate some Macross Blu-ray files with the Vic Mignogna dub synced to compare / contrast after I'm finished with the Macek-red version.

A-List is a gift from God. Usually go on average once a week. Can walk out at any point if there's too many assholes in the crowd and try again another time at no cost. I almost exclusively go to the movies by myself too, which makes things way easier.

I need to see it again as soon as possible. Total fucking masterpiece. I never got to experience The Empire Strikes Back or The Matrix in theaters, but this feels as significant (if not more-so). To feel a 6-story IMAX theater rumble in some of those scenes -- See it on the biggest screen possible. Allahu Akbar. Free Palestine.
