  1. Kinda, I tend to laugh inappropriately a lot. I have tried to explain Who's on First to a Filipino in a similar situation. Explaining the subtleties of a near miss is difficult to do with non-English speakers.
  2. Depending on what you wanna do being a sometimes parent isn't so bad. The irritation children supply can always be offset by, "I'm not even biologically compelled to like this asshat." I used to be firm about the no kid thing, but now I'm just whatever about it. I mixed kids in with adult jackassery but now I realize that most kids aren't calculated assholes, they're just being silly kids. When they are asses though, the simple act of saying no can feel great. But whatever you wanna do. There are positives and negatives about both situations. Just remember if you do you're dating the guy, not his kids.
  3. At least there's still H-Mart. https://www.hmart.com
  4. [f(x+delta x) - f(x)]/delta x I think I'm remembering that right. It gets complex because of f(x), whatever that may be. The delta x, representing a small rate of change, cancels out and leaves you with the formula for the derivative. I think we worked out the formula for every major rule to prove it true. I can't believe how much of this crap I remember. Earlier people were saying it's about slope, and that's not entirely true. Rate of change is what my teacher harped on. Like the derivative of the distance formula gives you the velocity formula, giving you the rate traveled at any point in time, and the second derivative gives you the acceleration formula, the rate at which the speed is changing at any time. One of my favorite things in calc was building the graph of a complex formula from scratch.

    O_O

It even showed the kid pissing on the unconscious body or corpse. That was too good.
  6. The derivative is the slope of the tangent line, it's usually easier to get to than the equation of the tangent line. And the other thing I said was about the piecewise function thing. Send your blowjob iou to Boo. Sorry about just kinda spouting shit, feeling shitty like I said.
  7. So you're not getting a Dell?
  8. It looks like you take the limit on both functions as the problem approaches the number in question. I feel like hell, but lemme grab my calc book. I think I can steer you in the right direction. Edit: yeah, that's literally all you do. So if you have a square root function that splits at -1, it's clearly discontinuous by observation. Plug in -.9 or whatever and it's proven.
  9. Look, it's all very complex. Alcohol was involved, several midgets, a kilo of heroin, it's just hard to explain. But for the last 10 years, yeah kinda. But this question made me punch my gut and I can still handle a solid body blow.
  10. You look like one of those guys.
  11. Yeah, I'm finally losing my core... I guess it's time to rebuild it. Got 20 years from the last one!
  12. The heat in the shower seemed to help. Heat is worth a try.
  13. Best I have is thc oil in a vape. Does that stuff work as a topical treatment? I bet a can get cbd massage oil somewhat cheaply.
  14. In the theoretical sense it means the ability to sense a person's emotions through some exotic power of the mind. In the real sense it means detecting subtle cues from choice in language and body language that I cannot adequately understand or explain. It's like seeing a why but not a how, and it's not simple or concrete. I will say that women think they sense emotions far better than men, which is true but it's like judging a horse race by a nose hair. Women cloud their own emotions into shit and it fucks up the whole thing. And it's part of why empathy is untrustworthy, because you can easily lose yourself in what you think you see.
  15. I know someone here has to have a fucked up back. Any particular methods to easing this shit? Stretching all day sounds tedious. Slamming my head in a door should do something, right?
  16. Lol, this one was comedy. Not even close to shit. Wanna hear one about a cop waking you up in a parking lot, feeling fine and leaving to have him immediately pull you over, ignoring procedure and lying in court? Taking you in for a blood test because he knows you'll pass a breathalyzer? More than one reason I'm happy to not be there. That situation fully educated me on what black people have to say about cops. Those guys free up their time however they please.
  17. It's fun to see grown people doing things I did ten years ago. When I was still grown... I may be old, but I fucking love aging. Here's a drunk yarn i don't have the privilege of remembering. On my third night of staying in a dorm I drank about half a handle of vodka in an hour or two cause I was mixing it with cranberry juice. At some point I went out for a cigarette in my boxers and kicked down the door of the dorm above mine. After spending some time looking for my drink the occupants came to see what I was doing there and I made them leave. I told them I understood the concept of the door but I'm afraid I wont be the one using it tonight. When security came and threatened to mace me I told them to fucking do it, verbatim. After that display they asked my dorm number and told me to come outside and look where I was. When we got to my dorm everyone was laughing and I acted like all the alcohol in the room showed up mysteriously. My Mexican roommate was apparently listening in his room and laughing his ass off at everything.
  18. I kinda like being her Furby though. She makes me laugh a lot.
  19. Boo always calls me a Furby...
  20. I would bet cooking is a pretty big one. And for some women how I speak is pretty sexy.
  21. The classic, I had to play a quick round when I got the online thing for christmas.
  22. You may not hate it but it sounds terrible.
  23. They seem to have updated that on switch Excitebike. I thought the same thing on the old one, the arrows didn't seem to serve a purpose.
  24. I like playing Japanese levels more than anything. I know if I designed levels I would have to spend hours though. I have one in mind though, it's gimmicky but beyond that I'd try to make fair and challenging levels when I felt like doing it or had an idea.
  25. I'd rather buy Super Mario Maker when I can spare 50. I'll give it a look though, I'm always looking out for games I've never seen.
