My grandmother was convinced you can't have platonic friends of the opposite sex unless it's like two couples that are friends. Then one time this conversation happened, my aunt named several boys from my grandmother's high school social group that she evidently mentally blacklisted once she married at 19.

I want to say I did the reverse with oot, where I played the remake and then played the original to see how much it contrasted from my memory, but I think that might have just been screenshots our youtubes.

i skipped lunch and ate a big salad a little while ago i just showered because i didn't sleep well and my eyelids needed those precious minutes in the morning i am thinking about warming up leftover pizza or alternatively just going to bed, but probably the pizza

i suppose that raises an interesting philosophical question about when it matters, enjoying something then versus enjoying it now, where to draw a line between when old media is still aired versus frowned upon. I suppose a similar example would be the contrast between how Disney and Warner Bros handle racism in their 1930s animated shorts.

What you need is a cat who gets hungry and/or feels forgotten at 4am. Then there will be balance once again.

Update: cat decided to make as much noise between 4am and 6am as possible because he wanted to eat and could not sleep until I figured out that there was zero dry food left out. Feel like garbage.

alarm+20 mins+pressure i don't really consider an alarm waking up naturally moreso than it is abruptly ruining a good time

the only thing that would wake me up or force me up (other than finishing sleeping) is the pressure of being late for an obligation aka getting up for work every morning

I can't take short naps. If I'm falling asleep, I'm staying asleep. Unless it's night time and I can't actually sleep.
