I knew after One Piece and Yu Yu were hits for Netflix that Lionsgate was going to fast-track the film, and now it has a new director who’s done, let’s see here: Shang-Chi, American Born Chinese which flopped and was a producer on Tokyo Vice which I really need to watch. Well, that seems like there’s some talent.

House of Ninjas. Which already has a pretty wacky premise.

It’s hilarious that Dynamite made a big deal of a straight Space Ghost comic they’re doing in May, only for Jellystone to remind everyone, no, he’s still the talk show host goofball, the comic is pointless.

The only issue would be that if it was a reboot, you’re probably looking at Michael Keaton playing old Bruce since Kevin Conroy is… This also looks like a very specific answer to Spider-Verse.

Chained Soldier 6-7

A lot of those shows either don't fit DeMarco's taxing standards or are older. Look, would it be fun if they got access to a dubbed version of Chained Soldier or aired Ya Boy Komining? Sure. But the cost-to-reward ratio probably looks unsatisfactory (and I don't see DeMarco vibing with Chained Soldier one bit).

Well, it's a hell of an advertisement for the Blu-Ray, that's for sure.

I’m pretty sure DBZ is something they can air cheaper because they aired it before. This isn’t DeMarco grabbing Daima and airing it at that hour (because if they do get it it’s going to air at midnight). Nor is it him spending cash on a new contract for an older show. They’ve made it a point that they’re squeezing every penny. I don’t see why that would change.

If you have no money and need to air a rerun, you might as well air something long that people like. It's not like they're throwing a premiere down there. Ninja Kamui is still airing at midnight.

This is the third such attempt in the new millennium to make a serious Space Ghost story, although the first two were from DC, a GrimDark 2006 release with beautiful Alex Ross covers and a really edgy story, and Future Quest, a massive crossover between all the Hanna Barbera action characters in the hopes of treating then seriously. (Dynamite earlier in the month released a Thundercats comic). The problem is Space Ghost is kind of typecast as well…this.
