The Hollywood Reporter, which I (mostly) trust, had a review that basically said this film was Genndy going full Ralph Bakshi. It also acknowledged a lot of people are not down for Full Ralph Bakshi.

Robocop Unfinished Business: Dropping RoboCop in the plot of Dredd basically (Granted people kind of consider Murphy an American take on Judge Dredd with some added tokusatsu elements, but this the first time they directly reference a Dredd story).

The news seems to be giving cable companies the green light to decouple Cartoon Network from basic packages. And they wonder why more and more people are cutting cords.

Fantastic Four First Steps - 6.5/10. Marvel tries to right the ship with the First Family but misses the boat by two years. At least Galactus was kind of cool but the Surfer’s dynamic was meh and I question casting Pascal who seemed to replace Reed’s awkwardness with - KPop Demon Hunters - 8/10. I liked this way more than I should have. The songs are fun and the characters are really likable.

Now hopefully they dub the first two seasons.

The weight numbers on the free arm machine in Aruba threw me off. It was listed in KG and not lbs, so I kept having to do the math. 140 kg bench press, or 308lbs. Granted I know dudes who can bench 405 or even 500 lbs, so I will forever have bench envy.

If buying foreign property wasn’t ten thousand degrees of being a pain in the ass, I would totally get that advertised place in Aruba with the infinity pool.

Saw it on a random weeknight. Enjoyed it quite a bit. Hasbro is kicking themselves in the teeth for not thinking of it first. This is how they should have modernized Jem and the Holograms if they wanted them in the same universe as Transformers and G.I. Joe.
