I’ll say this much as well. The Origin manga is very good. It updates the original series in a way that feels fresh, excising the older tropes of the original series and some of the outright cringe from Tomino’s novels. Which is why it’s a shame the actual series isn’t adapted yet. Still calling the movie will be based on The Origin.
