King Star King is one of the most reviled things ever made by Adult Swim (it didn’t help that the original press releases drew parallels between it and Korgoth of Barbaria) and Ballzmasterz is…balls. King Star King annoys me more because Tommy Blancha has made nothing but duds for Adult Swim. Remember Mongo Wrestling Alliance? I suppose we’re about 20 years too late to revive Korgoth though.

Legendary’s issues apparently date back to late 2020 when Warner dumped all their films on HBO Max same day and didn’t bother telling anyone. That was hugely popular with consumers but hugely unpopular with studios. (Enforcement of theater windows is the one thing studios are cheering Zaslav for).

Gill’s a smart one. DeMarco claims to be in show creation, but I still think Uzumaki is one delay from being written off.
