  1. It speaks to Trump’s rose colored nostalgia for the 50s in famous landmarks, race relations, and the general state of the country compared to the rest of the world.
  2. He’s still ass mad over Parasite winning Best Picture. Tax incentives and the like are what’s needed, but states can do that while tariffs can be unilaterally imposed, hence his love affair with them. This may be a way to get concessions on tax benefits for studios, but he’s too stupid to do that and his advisors would need to figure that out.
  3. It’s more like Toonami is catching Hulu’s sloppy seconds, but at this point they’ll take what they can get.
  4. Air fried duck with leftover fries and a salad.
  5. https://wccftech.com/half-life-3-playtested-summer-reveal/ Everything old really is new again if we’re getting Half Life 3 rumors.
  6. Everyone’s counting on China, freaking China to save Christmas, but considering the switch to third party, I think this is a last push for a profitable quarter for Microsoft before they wind down the hardware division of Xbox.
  7. Knicks almost gave me a heart attack before winning in the last 15 seconds.
  8. Revenge of the Sith in 4DX - Still has hokey acting at times, still memorable as all hell, still a ton of fun. 7.5/10 for being a fun movie but a flawed one. The Starfighter battle in the beginning with the moving chairs was awesome.
  9. https://edition.cnn.com/2025/05/01/investing/mcdonalds-earnings-first-quarter-2025 McDonalds is blaming one of their worst quarters ever on economic uncertainty, although others are pointing out the rather ludicrous costs of their food vs alternatives in the space.
  10. They don’t want to have this discussion until primaries and possibly general elections are done. By the same token, there will likely be intense pressure to keep delaying them until then, because of the inevitable self-destruction being laid at the feet of the GOP. I still believe if something happens to Trump, the tariffs vanish. But that’s a big IF.
  11. I can understand not promoting a fan project on the channel, but before his entire social media presence was politics, you’d think DeMarco would say something.
  12. This clown was allegedly the one who created the infamous chat group that leaked sensitive information. Granted, when the administration is a circus, one clown doesn’t make a lot of difference.
  13. https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/c807n4rnmjyo.amp As Tariffs ruin everything, including potentially Christmas, Trump once again does what he does best, double down, go “Nuh uh!” and claim he needs more time.
  14. Two decades of nonstop apologizing after this. I was hoping it’d be one, but no, two decades. Wanna go for three?
  15. Lazarus hit #9 again on Max. It seems to be a similar trajectory to MAWS.
  16. Fillet mignon, garlic bread, and salad.
  17. Edit - Why the FUCK did this get the confused reaction? I guess the reputation of the original is just that deep in the shitter thanks to DeMarco that any sort of fan content is simply not believable.
  18. Warner is not going to host a Disney show. Anyway, best case scenario is Bleach lasting till Get Jiro is ready. I doubt Undead Unluck or Sand Land are affordable at this point.
  19. Bullet Train Explosion - 7.5/10. I didn’t think someone could make a relatively intelligent action movie about a crisis using the same premise of the dumb but awesome Speed. Even if it’s a sequel to the film that inspired Speed. The main issue is while the crisis is intelligent and tense, the main villain is NOWHERE near as fun as Dennis Hopper.
  20. I’m surprised the Mouse let them.
  21. Red Ranger in another world 13.
  22. The primary is going to be something. https://www.nydailynews.com/2025/04/22/dc-37-nycs-largest-municipal-union-endorses-adrienne-adams-as-top-pick-for-mayor/ Particularly as not all the unions are falling behind Cuomo.
  23. The post-Trump years are going to be…something. As for Adams, more unions are backing Cuomo, so Adams is a shoe-in to lose. The Trump effect doesn’t bouy down the ballot.
