While Roddenberry was alive Star Trek was basically his version of a communist future where everyone had access to everything and people didn't work for money... they just did work... just because. Originals a big deal for Toonami? Nah not really. Their FLCL sequels already look like wasted time and effort in terms of the ratings/ response it got from viewers. I think they'll retreat to the old ways of airing hit anime 2 to 3 years after we see it subbed.
