I don't understand here. I'm not much of a basketball fan, but wiki says he's a 6x NBA champion, 1991-1993, and 1996-1998.

I just looked up his wikipedia page, and it looks like the implication is he won 3 national championships in preperation for Space Jam, then made Space Jam, and went back to basketball for a few more Championships. The joke still works!

Homer Simpson Disease is a term I just made up but it can mean many things to many people..... I have Teen Titans Go on the TV as background noise. I heard Robin exclaim, "Crime Alert!" and for whatever reason, my mind went to "I'll crime your alert." I do this in my head all the goddamn time with stuff I randomly hear on TV when I'm not really paying attention. I don't know why. I guess for me one of the most defining moments of The Simpsons was when Lisa said to Homer, "I need to practice my saxophone!" And Homer goes "I'll practice you!" And Lisa goes, "You'll practice me? What does that even mean?" Not really one of my favorite moments but it's apparently drilled into my subconsciousness. I think there were other moments of similar Homer's dialogue that my weird formula more closely mirrors. Anyone else have any Homer Simpson Diseases?

Dang. I read 1984 as part of HS required reading. I hated it. The entire book was boring except the chapter about Room 101 but I still hated that chapter because it just seemed fucked up to me. And I hated the ending too.

I'm not so sure it's about fanboyism as it is about a few MASSIVELY popular / incredible games that saved the sinking ship. Ocarina of Time, Smash Bros., Mario Kart, Goldeneye.... I always hated Goldeneye but I'm pretty sure I'm alone in that.... Ocarina of Time was a masterpiece and Smash Bros is my fav multi player game of all time (never played any of its sequels, so if it was ever improved upon I wouldn't know). I think it was a Pat the NES Punk vid I was watching that pointed out that like every other fucking third party game on N64 was a shitty racing game. And I can't refute that. There were a ton. And why make a bunch of shitty "normal" racing games when you got FUCKING MARIO KART? My own personal biggest gripe with the N64 though was no follow-up to the incredible Super Metroid.

I thought that was really underrated. I beat it and enjoyed all the way through, for the most part (the exception being that part where you're carrying some concoction that blows up on you if you so much nudge anything other than air. Fuck that part).

OH @lupin_bebop here's something I ran into with my new laptop I think you'll have an answer for: My phone, the same one described above on iOS 12.5.4, is not recognized on the Music app on this new laptop. It was never a problem on my old one. This new laptop only has USB-C ports, as opposed to USB-A, and I don't have a lightning-USB-C cable yet so I got a USB-C-multi port (including USB-A) adapter that I use to plug my phone into my comp. I was wondering if Music doesn't recognized my phone because It's being run through USB-A to the USB-C converter to my laptop. But the thing with it is, my computer recognizes it enough to charge it.
