My parents finally got that divorce back in April. Step-dad finally made good on his words as to wanting a divorce for years now after getting fed up with my mom. I don't really keep in contact with them and the relatives on the step-dad side, so this bit was half shocking when I got a call from Mom. I guess I'll have to visit my mom more frequently than just dropping by once awhile. My brother is currently living with her and the other half siblings sometimes visit but yeah, rough times for her.

i'm not opposed to gimmicks but i couldn't take babymetal serious with their over the top produced idol metal choreography. otherwise, i'll still occasional listen to it if i come across it.

if not for their exposure in the U.S. and globally, there would not be an implosion of other idol propped metal groups. but i do have to say that the gimmicky type of metal isn't really my cup of tea. so after what 3 years passed by since the introduction of BABYMETAL, i stumbled acrossed LADYBABY/LADYBEARD from an imgur post, which led me to search for that group, who in fact turned out to be one of those gimmicky metal but a bit more metal with the growler. thus i went down the rabbit hole and discovered my new favorite band, BAND MAID, an actual rock band without the gimmicks, of course it also lead me to other types of Japanese heavy rock/metal groups i've gave a listening to for the past few days.

Series is ok having not read the source material. The animation is decent at times, i also recognized some of the VAs but mostly each week flys by quickly and still don't answer some questions that were kind of odd during the first couple episodes. As to her visit to the hospital and why she's transferring to a new school by the end of the semester.

Well, if Tim and Eric can get a show by passing it off as "comedy" why can't you?
