One lucky person here just got something special ordered
katt_goddess replied to Sawdamizer's topic in Free-For-All
I was just thinking about the rare crapmas gift growing up that required batteries but strangely enough there were never any batteries anywhere. It's the bane of every kid getting a gift ever. Never had the super diarrhea gummies though. Have laughed myself sick reading the hilarious Amazon reviews about them though. -

Did you include batteries? Or will the disappointment be everywhere? Honestly, my real guess is a big bag of those sugar-free gummies that cause super diarrhea. Because no one suspects the gummi. -

I'm thinking that if I power chug all that, I might need a plumber though.

So...coffee flavored cotton candy or Fleeb Juice? Or just pour the Fleeb Juice directly on the cotton candy and chug the bucket?

you know it's going to be a shitty day when.....

Yes, bunnies can be harness trained. Not collar because it pulls them wrong. I had a secret dorm bunny the second half of freshman year that also lived with me at the frat for a bit before going to the bunny hatch for the rest of his fat happy life. He wore a harness while living with me, was free-range while indoors and used a litter box. On the rest of topic, hot humid yucky day. Bike tire blew up so I have to walk everywhere now until I can get it to the good bike shop on Saturday - about an hour+ walking and pushing a flatty bike in what is supposed to be 90+ heat. Humidity is slowing down the latex work so I'm really behind at this point and will have to look at potentially working late at night to actually get things to set properly and quickly. And I was messing around with the luggage which makes the kitten feel nervous [which is why I have to start messing with the luggage a month in advance of doing anything...autistic little fuzzbag] so she decided to poop on the carpet this morning in protest. -.-; On the plus side, I'm going to the dang used bookstore on Saturday since I'm going to be in the area getting my bike repaired anyway. ALL UR BOOKS R BELONGING TO ME! -
Interesting idea. I'm a fan of both and I watch both [obviously] but I might not be the typical fan per se either. That said, my comment would be about the contract [ as ] has for JoJo. They might only have a straight contract for a singular run [Saturdays] with option for select additional run [holiday marathons] . Anime contracts tend to have different attachments than something like the Fox comedy reheats which are sold often as bulk year runs with unlimited airing possibilities. Anime can often be sold merely by season or runs allowable and it can be fairly competitive. So if they only have a particular JoJo at a given time, they might only be able to air it for a set number of times and then get first dibs on the next dub in line.

The Venture Bros. are coming back this summer!
katt_goddess replied to Raptorpat's topic in Toonami & [adult swim]
With a lot of the comedy shows though they were Fox re-heats. You never could get a solid discussion thread going on something that someone saw 'new' the previous Sunday. And the short shows like Robot Chicken never had episode discussions. I'd handle maybe a question every other month and that was that for RC. But the Venture base is very much out there, just not in here actively. Doc's appearances are always packed and there are professional Venture Brothers cosplayers running around. -
I've thought about the Social Engineering one but I'm mainly looking at the 800+ books already on my shelves that I haven't read yet. I went with 'Crazy Rich Asians' for the hell of it. Still feeling tired though.

Vaguely irritated. Just finished book 90 of 100 and can't decide what to grab off the shelf next. Probably just going to bed instead. #firstreaderproblems

OH MY GAWD! SPUDZILLA! RUN! Or walk. It's a Spudzilla. Also happy lazy tabby in the OP. Does he have white fur belly or is he full dark tabby?

Stop hanging ornaments from them! The Hallmark store has it's own displays. Never understood the nipple piercing thing. I'd think they'd catch on clothes and pull or snag all over the dang place. Plus the duct thing that was already mentioned. I would think hitting one of those would keep the hole from properly healing up and just be like an open wound after awhile.

Aw, two fingers away from that being an unintentionally epic little kid pic.

Heh...biggest...

I almost taller than him. In my bare feet. Sumo manlette.

I posted cleavage. Otherwise, what's change?

Technically the moment of birth is when you start to die because until that moment, your entire being was focused on multiplying itself from a single cell to a multi-cell organism. At birth, you start dying because your system is dependent on just you.

Let me get out my cat suit and the accordion and we'll really light this bitch.

When does the war on Christmas start this year?
katt_goddess replied to nameraka's topic in Free-For-All
We've had trees up for like a damn month now. And ornaments and craft shit for longer. The war never ends. Just when you think you've got the damn thing beat into the ground, it pops back up in all it's horrible flocked and glittered armor. -
That is pretty young to have been kicked out of the nest. I'm guessing that it's the last hatched and got booted by accident by the bigger ones in the nest. It doesn't even have pinfeathers on it's tail yet. As long as there's a parent in the area, it's an ok baby as others have said. Just keep other animals away from it. Robins are fairly good parents so don't be surprised if you see one or the other actively leading the little one across the yard to someplace they feel is 'safer' . On the extreme end of things, if you are aware of an empty nest fairly close to where the baby is now [it doesn't have to be the actual robin's nest] you could try scooping it up while the parent watches and placing it in that nest. It's actually a myth that touching baby birds will cause the parents to abandon them - it's not the scent that drives them away, it's people continuing to go back and bug the baby. In the nest and then get the hell out of there and leave everyone alone. If the parents are happy with the placement, they'll continue to feed the baby there until it's strong enough to flutter somewhere else. And if they aren't, the baby will end up on the ground again and be walked to someplace else. I've had my share of wild bird rehabs growing up including robins.

Yep, it was an alternate version. Rick and Morty are on the front in color on an 'empty' white background but when you charge it, the background is full of line drawings of all the other characters that have been in the series up to that point. So that was fairly cool but the book itself is very drawing orientated with what I felt was a lot of open space going on. I read the whole thing in an afternoon. The Venture book, however, is packed with info and pics. The only spot in the book that I could say has 'open space' is the end bit where there's some showing off of some of the official official merch but I would think that's more because there isn't an absolute ton of that stuff out there and bigger photos mean people can actually see some of the details better. I kind of wish that fan stuff had been included somewhere [at least a sample of the really good stuff] . There was a fan-made Steve McQueen / Hank leather jacket from Season 6 that is pretty damn impressive. I'm sure everyone would want to see who wears / fits in it better - Jackson or Doc.
