I have sadly done this as well but with mild salsa. Anything too spicy and I'm coughing up pink mist. Cooler Ranch Doritos and French onion dip. It's like once a year, I NEED to do this. And yet another hand goes up for the 'eats one thing at a time until it's gone' club. I don't care that it's all going to the same place, I eat each thing separately. I don't really like them touching each other either. I'm not Monk-level crazy but I will go through the mashed potatoes in a microwave meal and flick any invading veggies into the trash can. Go away, you don't belong in there and now you are gross.

You get stuck with a crap contract at the start of things because 'fame isn't guaranteed' . Then that crap contract gets renewed to ensure that everything goes through the manager first because he 'made you famous' . -.-; I've often wondered if there isn't some level of blackmail that goes on with some of these force-made groups too to keep everyone in check.

This is Hollywood's natural reaction to anything that holds up well over the years. Hit it one more time like a money-filled piñata. My understanding of the script is it's Lydia's kid that ends up invoking ye olde beetlegeus this time around. Tim Burton is on board so that's a sort of plus because at least he's going to continue to be weird and allowed to be weird because he's frickin' Tim Burton. But I'm in wait-mode on it because part of the fun of the original [ other than being the original ] was the campy surrealism. The sequel might be more on par with the new Sabrina thing going on.

You do realize that if you ever sent out a general meet up, you'd have to include 'Bring the HAT' . We'd know. And everyone in that meet-up area would wonder where the short bus was parked.

I was actually speaking in terms of the author's perspective. Sometimes the thing you first create is fine on its own and there's a mental block against writing anything more in that 'world' . So for the author, maybe the sequel was floating around in the background but it had no need to really form up and demand to be written despite any external demands by fans.

Not necessarily. It wouldn't be outside the realm of possibility for them to continue running season 1 and 2 in the later slot while starting up season 3 in the earlier slot once that becomes an option. It would allow them to continue to run everything they have while they still have rights for it all, would finish up the series altogether, and placeholder both spots. Depending on how everything gets spaced anyway, season 3 could finish and then replay still in sequence after season 2 finished in that later slot. I don't see Titan getting a weeknight run. The hour they have to play with the most is the bridge between the CN evening stuff and the Fox reheats. That's not a spot that would do well playing a show where people get eaten and puked back up. Violent and very cartoony type things like Dragon Ball [ anything ] kind of work that bridge just fine but more realistic anime would probably give someone in programming heartburn.

I know for an absolute scientific fact backed by personal experimentation that that 'black' burger will turn your toilet's contents the most amazing green. I'm guessing people will end up running to the doctors' thinking their insides are melting after eating the red one.

Which, for there to be an actual sequel or for the sequel to actually be published? I think there's sometimes a problem with having a sequel if the first book is strong enough to stand by itself. There needs to be a reason for going back to that world. There's reason now. Here's hoping that it's not a crappy forced sequel though. -.-;

Sequel to the book is scheduled to be out in September.
