  2. Don't worry... it's just me making another thread. I don't need any sort of congratulatory message for it, since it only requires a few minutes of effort. Now, the normal rules of the threads apply here. You probably have them burned into your brain by now.
  3. Let's do this before most of the threads for premieres are posted... LOL. Enjoy yourselves with the return of this pretty historic show. I'll stick to my personal Blu-rays.
  4. Or rather, there's a short version, which Toonami aired. It effectively removed the entire plot, including a brief prologue where the protagonist said something. And that's why people were disappointed, because they thought a subbed anime would finally air on the block.
  5. I actually watched it, but without sound, so I couldn't hear anything they said. But judging by the reactions of the live chat, it was apparently a nothingburger after all. In particular, there was one guy in the chat who just spammed the same question of if they would air Shelter: The Animation again, but as the full version this time. I have no idea why you'd make such a big deal about that when it's available to stream on Crunchyroll for free 365 days a year, but... yeah.
  6. The iDOLM@STER Episode 15: "We All Have a Live Broadcast. A Live One!"
  7. So I guess Akame ga Kill! will also return soon, right?
  8. From what I've heard, this show might be even better dubbed. However, I thought it would be kind of cool if Funi casted VAs who had the same roles as the ones from the original Japanese version for each episode. The second had Piccolo and Raditz' seiyuus, so Christopher Sabat should('ve been / be) in that one.

  10. Honestly, I wish you'd stop talking about this. The show is not popular enough to justify airing a simuldub of the next part. Also, we don't know who's going to license it (Crunchyroll at least simulcasted the sub of Part IV), but assuming it goes to Discotek like the rest of Lupin... they're a pretty small company. Could they even handle such a project? There's also the fact that the very concept of a simultaneous dub itself is only found in Texas.
  11. It has more to do with people watching an episode that naturally follows up on what they saw last week. Even casual viewers would be able to notice if they skipped one. Of course, some shows are episodic, and thus a little more resistant to this. If the show had at least some action, it was always possible. But if really are going the isekai route for Toonami, I would rather not mind watching Knight's & Magic again.
  12. I guess the schedule is distorted because they don't have Space Dandy programmed into the system yet. Or rather, they did, but removed it at some point. That isn't fair, and I hate whenever it happens.
  13. What, you've never heard of the Ultra Series? I'm pretty sure they could work those giant alien dudes into it somehow.
  14. Do you realize that there's almost certainly going to be another Dragon Ball show after Super? It's not like they announced the franchise was shutting down again; they're making too much money off of it to back down. There's even a theatrical movie planned for this year.
  15. Made in Abyss #13 (END) Pop Team Epic #3
  16. It's kind of awkward that we get into the Future Trunks arc right as it's announced Super is ending. Now we're forced to savor the show as much as possible.
  17. The Eccentric Family #5 and #6 (topic of spoiler) The iDOLM@STER #15
  18. So I... well, I got last place, but there was an award to go with it. Honestly, I never expected to do well in the competition to begin with; my story was entirely typed in one day. I did feel okay about it in the end, though. It was mostly just an excuse to go waxing lyrical about how great the White Mountains are, as well as all of the fun stuff you can do up there. Regarding the "unusually frigid weather" plot device: I envisioned the story taking place some time in late August or September, where the days are still warm, but the low temperatures really can get down there. I probably should've made it a little more clear.
  19. Wouldn't Dragon Ball Ultra be the preferred progression? Also, it has some interesting potential for crossovers...
  20. Regarding one of OwlChemist's predictions, I find this to be pretty interesting... Could they be announcing Part 5 immediately after Part 4's end? That would be fairly bold. Of course, this could just as easily be nothing, but whatever it is, I hope it lives up to the promise.
  21. The post times have been erratic, and now that I'm back in school, they're probably going to stay that way. I need a work ethic and to be genuinely serious about studying, you know. The iDOLM@STER Episode 14: "Their World Begins to Change!"
  22. Oh hey, it's back up now. As in, just click on the bottom link to get to the old schedule.
  23. It has to be a hiatus. Toei would be stupid to stop milking their biggest cash cow. A hiatus at least allows them to refresh the production staff and lay out a coherent plan for... probably several more years of the anime to come.
  24. Now everyone knows how I feel about Crunchyroll. Granted, there wasn't much wrong with it before, but now that they're trying to force an anime down our throats that isn't up to par, it makes my decision feel vindicated. Also, this is just a fun little tangent, but remember Toriko? A.k.a. the last time a "hot" new shonen franchise was shoved down our throats. It even got a crossover special with Dragon Ball Z and One Piece where it pretty much couldn't be anything other than the third wheel. Well, the franchise's anime movie got licensed... by Discotek. That's kind of a hilarious fall, considering Funimation had the actual series. It just goes to show that this approach won't work every single time. I will at least credit all parties involved for being as bloodthirsty as possible this time.
