I have to assume they don't care where HxH airs because it's a show with a fixed number of episodes. Therefore, it doesn't have a very high chance of being cancelled. As long as it's just barely hanging over the line to make a profit, it'll stay, so there's nothing to worry about.

Samurai Jack S5 wasn't even a year ago.

So I DVR's the Bushworld Adventures and recently watched it. Honestly, considering it came oppose the most elaborate prank in [adult swim] history, this felt like a total afterthought; they also took a much more subdued approach to airing it compared to the Szechuan sauce thing. But hey, this was fun. I don't know how much of Rick and Morty the guy who made this has watched, but there were references to an insignificant line from the first episode as well as the original Doc and Mharti short, which was fairly surprising. Maybe they're just feigning cursory knowledge of the source material for laughs? Now I just gotta wait for Uncle Barry to come and take me down to Bendigo. You... ya gotta turn back into a car, Uncle Barry.

At this point, I think Champloo is a likely choice to replace Ghost in the Shell: SAC when it ends. Granted, they could do all sorts of things with that half-hour, including rerunning GiTS from the beginning, bringing back Outlaw Star for another run, or even dropping the slot entirely, but I bet they would love the sheer novelty of having three Watanabe shows in a row to end the block.

Well now... I wonder if they had to argue with the licensor on that one. Some people would probably argue that Black Clover isn't on late enough, or that Shippuden should be moved up a bit, but I'm happy with this change. And not moving Gundam: IBO pretty much confirms that they'll (at least try to) replace it with a new show, as if it was ever in doubt to begin with. Let's keep our fingers crossed...

I would be a little bit more optimistic, but yeah. DeMarco has said there's new stuff coming, and I want to hold him at that, but it's also really suspect that we're over a quarter of the way into the year and not one new show has premiered.

Just when I thought they couldn't drag out the reveal of a new show any longer... But yeah, this makes enough sense. With the original FLCL flowing right into the sequels, that franchise will probably have a stronghold on the 11:30 slot for the rest of the year. It just really sucks that this is basically Outlaw Star's replacement. I wanted something that was new to the block, regardless of if it was amazing. And now I'm paranoid that they're somehow going to fuck up Gundam IBO's departure and have that not be new. Say hello to Season 2 of The Big O, everybody!

Countdown & Scavengers re-air THIS SATURDAY at 11:30!?!

Yeah... I think my brain's broke. It just spilled out onto the carpet. Maybe if I watch another episode of Kakegurui, it'll fix itself? -

In 2007, they did the tiny Aqua Teen Hunger Force movie gag in primetime, which as the only one done as such until ten years later. So... uh, yeah. Bushworld Adventures. It's certainly a surreal thing.

So, just to remind you people: it's still April Fool's Day. And apparently, Mike Tyson Mysteries isn't new tonight, even though [as] typically does do premieres on Easter. So I would not at all count out them doing another gag, especially since the 4/7 Toonami schedule is somehow still in the dark. Maybe they'll preempt the entire primetime schedule with an anime premiere... -

They played it back in December 2016 alongside a marathon. Toonami is also funding a sequel to the short, which makes this as good a time as any to show the original again... even at almost 6:00 in the morning. -

You know, for as much amazing as this gag has been... objectively, there's one bad thing about it. At the end of the night, we still won't know what the schedule for April 7 is. It's easy enough for anyone to predict at this point, but come on. -
And subbed Black Clover. Also, here's a useless trivia fact for this show: Killua's Japanese VA is also the voice of Reg from Made in Abyss.

Yup. Hunter × Hunter will be on next. We're under the assumption that everything aired this week will be repeated on the next, but as dubbed, so don't worry if you end up missing anything. I'm getting ready to go to sleep soon anyway. -
So this must be his second second chance? I guess there really is more in the mind, than this body... what a feeling.

So I guess his brain was trying to give up and let him die rather than rise up to kill that apparent rapist, but he persevered above all else. I like this movie.

So... uh... The gag apparently got spoiled. Don't click that if you want to be surprised. -

This week's Dragon Ball Super is rated TV-14V. Check the manual backdoor for that. -

The average [as] prank is not lame. Also, why are you putting more effort (and the episode titles) into these now? -

Oh, okay. I personally preferred seeing him break over whatever nonsensical stuff involving the ghouls' conflict was going on.
