The NHL has the same sort of rules, but there are a grand total of 2 players who are not vaccinated at this point. So those rules dont really ever come into play.

Most major statewide ballot measures failed out here. At the local level only one passed. It requires all police officers and sheriffs to pass a background check. That was already state law, but it brings local law inline with state. There was a measure to remove the word "men" and "man" from our local laws and charter as well, that went down in a flaming pile. We basically voted "Status quo" out here. Edit: Should add that one is still too close to call. Its too close to call on if we will change our local laws to allow for marijuana dispensaries to be established. Its currently leading, but its close enough that they have to wait for any provisional ballots as well as a recount before they can say one way or the other. Im hopeful it passes.

And just like that WaPo is out with a poll showing McAuliffe with a 1 point lead. The difference between the two is Fox polled Likely Voters and WaPo polled Registered Voters. Either way, its pretty clear that Tuesday should be a very tight race.

The RCP Average for Virginia has had a huge change today. Youngkin is up 1.2 in the latest average. This is mainly because of a Fox poll showing him with an 8 point lead. That poll looks mighty outlierish to me. No other poll has shown Youngkin with a lead, let alone one outside the MoE. Youngkin clearly has the momentum, but I really doubt hes up 8 right now.

Shes not going to win an election. She couldn't even make it out of the Democratic primary, shes not winning a general election. I don't even think she will be the nominee in 2024.
