Well now, thats a pretty big deal. Texas is now allowed to arrest illegal immigrants within its borders. At least, they can for now. The case itself will still need to be heard, tried, and likely appealed to SCOTUS no matter how this goes.

He has an average negative of 15 points. Thats deeply unpopular. You cant put lipstick on this pig. Biden is not a popular president. His popularity is coming almost entirely from Democrats at this point. Independents are not supporting him. He has somewhere between a 20-30% approval among Independents depending on the poll. That is absolutely horrible for any candidate to have.

Missed this when it came out, but its one of the polls taken after the SOTU. There has not been any post-SOTU bounce for Biden. The RCP average shows that all polls taken since the SOTU continue to show Trump with a lead. A 3 or 5 way race is just as bad for Biden. Its even worse in battleground states where Trump has the lead outside of the MoE in a majority of polls. Biden is currently losing this race. He is a deeply unpopular president, and he is going to struggle to change that mindset this late in the game.

It also has opened up ways for the GOP to pick up enough votes among the working class to shift elections. Theres a reason the Rust Belt is firmly in play this year, and a lot of it has to do with the working class being abandoned by Democrats.

Thats what all the local radio and news people keep saying. If she wants to run for that seat, she has to leave her current seat. You cant run for a seat in a special election while occupying a seat in another district.

Im really good at calling this stuff. This could happen as early as this week, why? Because of Bobo the clown. You can thank some fun rules in Colorado for this. Basically, because Polis announced a special election is going to be held this year Bobo the Clown has a choice. If she wants to run for that district in November then Colorado rules state she must run for it in this open election. If not, she cant actually run for that district in November. And if she wants to run for it, she has to leave her current seat. If she leaves that seat, the GOP lose the majority, at least for a few days. Im not fully sure how that all works, but it has to do with the timing of the special election and some wonky rules we have out here. The radio has been talking about it a ton since Buck announced he was leaving. Apparently he let Polis know a while back, but didnt tell the GOP at all. That allowed for Polis to time the special election to trigger these rules. So Buck may have not only torpedoed the GOP majority, but he may end Bobo the Clowns career ahead of schedule. She was going to lose the primary anyways because her brand of politics is pretty toxic out here.
