Start by capturing or killing the entire Hamas leadership and command structure. Israel is doing a good job at this, so they just need to keep on trucking. Demilitarize the Gaza Strip so that they cannot launch another attack. Again, Israel is doing a good job and can just keep going. Get rid of the UNWRA in Gaza. Its proven beyond any shadow of a doubt that they are a terrorist supporting organization and they need to go. Start educating people, particularly younger people, that Jews are not monsters and that they have a right to live. Normally you could show images of the atrocities from 10/7, but the hate runs so deep in Gaza that even that might not be enough. This will take the longest and will need to be ingrained in much of the post-war efforts. Same as what happened in Germany and Japan after WW2. Ideally an international peacekeeping force would occupy Gaza for a while to ensure that they dont launch another attack and that the education can continue. This is where things are tough though because no one wants to be involved in Gaza, least of all other Arab nations.

Rep. Lauren Boebert’s son arrested in string of trespassing, thefts https://kdvr.com/news/colorado/rep-lauren-boeberts-son-arrested-in-string-of-trespassing-thefts/ "DENVER (KDVR) — Congresswoman Lauren Boebert‘s son was arrested on Tuesday in connection to a string of vehicle trespassing and property thefts. According to the Rifle Police Department, officers arrested 18-year-old Tyler Jay Boebert on Tuesday at 2:30 p.m. Officers said Tyler’s arrest follows a recent string of vehicle trespassing and property thefts in Rifle." I cannot wait for the rapidly approaching day when BoBo the Clown is relegated to the dustbin of history and we dont have to hear about her, or her family, any more.

Hamas Rejects Cease-Fire Proposal, Dashing Biden’s Hopes of Near Term Deal https://www.nytimes.com/2024/02/27/world/middleeast/biden-israel-hamas-cease-fire.html "Hamas officials said on Tuesday that there had been no breakthrough in the mediated talks with Israel aimed at pausing the war and freeing the remaining hostages in the Gaza Strip, one day after President Biden said he was hopeful that a cease-fire would be in place by next week. Basem Naim, a Hamas spokesman, said in a text message that the militant group had yet to formally receive “any new proposals” since senior Israeli officials met with Qatari, Egyptian and U.S. mediators in Paris last week to advance a possible deal. Another Hamas official, Ahmad Abdelhadi, said that the group was sticking to its demand that Israel agree to a long-term cease-fire and that leaks about the talks were designed to pressure Hamas to soften its position. “We are not interested in engaging with what’s been floated, because it does not fulfill our demands,” Mr. Abdelhadi said Tuesday in a televised interview with al-Mayadeen, a Lebanese broadcaster." Hamas is not going to agree to a peace deal because they have this insane idea that they are winning the war. Their idea of a "deal" is for Israel to surrender. Its laughable on its face. The only way there will ever be peace is if Hamas is completely decimated and there is a long-term de-radicalization plan in place in the same manner that we saw in Germany and Japan post WW2.

ITN: First US Moon Landing in 50 years
Master-Debater131 replied to Master-Debater131's topic in Current Events
They are basically working as a partnership. NASA needs something launched or landed, private companies figure out how to get it done with NASAs help. Generally speaking, the more people are involved in Space stuff the better it is for everyone. One company can figure out how to cheaply get into space and reuse rockets (Space X) and other companies can figure out how to create satellites, landers, and even habitats for the Moon and beyond. Everyone should be excited by the idea of more space exploration and more people involved in Space. I know that locally its supporting a ton of jobs. We have a booming aerospace industry out here with multiple companies all involved in various aspects of space exploration. Its all super cool stuff. -

Private lander makes first US moon landing in more than 50 years https://apnews.com/article/moon-landing-private-company-intuitive-machines-9c896bfca61582773d381f4045fd35d7 CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla. (AP) — A private lander on Thursday made the first U.S. touchdown on the moon in more than 50 years, but managed just a weak signal back until flight controllers scrambled to gain better contact. Despite the spotty communication, Intuitive Machines, the company that built and managed the craft, confirmed that it had landed upright. But it did not provide additional details, including whether the lander had reached its intended destination near the moon’s south pole. The company ended its live webcast soon after identifying a lone, weak signal from the lander. This is pretty awesome news. Its the first time the US has been back to the moon since the Apollo missions. The craft was launched by Space X and is designed by a commercial company, both also firsts. The craft is carrying NASA instruments as well as a commemorative statue to mark the landing site. This is all really cool stuff and its a great time to be a space geek as we start what looks to be another Space Race.

‘Hamas is not a terrorist group,’ says UN Relief Chief Martin Griffiths https://www.jpost.com/israel-hamas-war/article-787084 "UN Relief Chief Martin Griffiths told a representative from Sky News on Wednesday that he did not consider Hamas to be a terrorist group. Asked about the feasibility of Israel’s military goal to eliminate Hamas and disallow the terrorist group from having any governing say in Gaza, Griffiths responded “Hamas is not a terrorist group for us, as you know, it is a political movement. But, I think it is very very difficult to dislodge these groups without a negotiated solution; which includes their aspirations. “I cannot think of an example offhand of a place where a victory through warfare has succeeded against a well-entrenched group, terrorist or otherwise.” Speaking of Hamas’s October 7 attack, Griffiths said he had “total understanding” of the “trauma” it had caused Israel but that Israel would need to build a relationship with its neighbors regardless." Its hard to be snarky about this one because its just so detached from reality. It really reads like its an Onion article, not an actual quote from someone at the UN.

Honestly this was one of the craziest seasons in a long time. The script writers really outdid themselves at times. Not super happy with the ending though, seen this story before. It sucks and is getting old. -
Another glorious day for the worlds #1 Submarine fleet. The Motherland celebrates its newest submarine as it embarks on its special under water mission. All Glory to the Motherland!

Overwhelming majority of Americans think Biden is too old for another term: POLL https://abcnews.go.com/Politics/poll-americans-on-biden-age/story?id=107126589 "An overwhelming majority of Americans think President Joe Biden is too old to serve another term, according to a new ABC News/Ipsos poll. According to the poll, conducted using Ipsos' Knowledge Panel, 86% of Americans think Biden, 81, is too old to serve another term as president. That figure includes 59% of Americans who think both he and former President Donald Trump, the Republican front-runner, are too old and 27% who think only Biden is too old." 86% is not a survivable number. You cant get 86% of Americans to agree on a damn thing, and yet here we are. 59% think both are too old, and they arent wrong, but that 86% number is absolutely gruesome.

‘Squad’ member Cori Bush losing by 22 points in new Dem primary poll https://nypost.com/2024/02/10/news/squad-member-cori-bush-losing-by-22-points-in-new-dem-primary-poll/ "“Squad” member and US Rep. Cori Bush could lose big in this summer’s Democratic primary, according to a new poll. A new poll by GOP firm Remington Research finds Bush, (D-Missouri), losing by 22 points to rival Wesley Bell in the Aug. 6 contest. “It’s a big red flag for far-left Squad lawmakers,” Josh Kraushar, editor-in-chief of Jewish Insider, posted on X. “This data is yet another example why pandering to the left-wing radicalism on Israel in the Dem party is a counterproductive strategy for Biden.”" Not sure about the pollster, but this backs up other polls out there showing Bush likely losing in the primary.

Mans got a serious hard on for the USSR and wanting to go back to the glory days of the soviet union. Now some historying on the fall of Rome and genetically engineering super humans. Special shout out to Musk and his human implanted chips. That was something, thats for sure. Some interesting parts, such as when Tucker brought up Gershkovich, but also a whole lot of Putin just droning on and on about a whole bunch of stuff.

Im about halfway through this thing, and yea, ok bud. Some pretty serious revisionist history around WWII and the fallout after that. Hes spending a lot of time talking about his history and what he thinks happened. Its also pretty clear he still thinks the collapse of the USSR was the worst thing ever.
