As I said, they had no chance of killing Luke. There was a breakdown of just how OP Jedis are. Even at point blank, the force would do some freaky shit to protect him. Jedi are generally only bested by other Jedi...It's ridiculous to even consider they get get owned by a stormtrooper. I don't know about leia at all. Han and Chewy are battle worn...I'm sure they've been shot despite it not being a thing in the actual films. Han professing that he shoots first is a testament that he's been shot before and learned his lesson.
