Considering I do everything online, i hardly ever check snail mail. It is usually just junk. People wanting to give you loans or sell something or a bill that I already have on autopay. So I get a letter from Allstate and since it's on autopay and I don't have any recent emails from them, I was about to just toss it in the trash. But the envelope was really fat so I thought "eh maybe I should take a look" So anyway, seems there was an error and there was a rebate check for 18 bucks in it. Now while not enough money to be excited about Im just more concerned with how many checks I've just thrown in the trash. I accidentally happened upon a copay refund check from my dermatologist for $40 once and the only reason I opened it was because I picked the wrong letter out of the stack, thinking I was opening my light bill
