Yes. I'd like to find ONE map.gif that kind of sums up how the Axis powers basically exploded before the allied came together in response but... it's not worth the search. Plus if you take into account a lot of the 'what would have beens' if the wars would've ended differently... I just don't get your angle I never have.

To what historically do we owe that presence?

Your focus on the world war 2 aspects of....IDK I guess this shit still has me a bit PTSD'd so to speak even if it's ancient news at this point. Unit 731...A Japanese special unit more noted in sociopolitical spheres for it's chemical and bioligical efforts than psychological, but it's still on topic if you ask me. I'm going to post a vid I havent vetted...Is that Simon I know that voice...
-
That is a good question I guess. A sound mind? The term psychological warfare can refer to a wide range of warfighting tactics, and what might be a good answer for one tactic might not help you at all in not falling victim to another. Based on the video in your OP however, you seem to have Russia's propaganda machine in mind. When it comes to propaganda especially the wartime/political variety you need to be able to identify key features or "tells" of the author and any biases they may have... Why do I feel like I'm pissing in the wind already?

what's the question?
-
I doubt he's going to take the time to explain psychological warfare to you.... What has you curious about it? Do you have a question about the history of Russian psychological warfare specifically or psychological warfare in general?

I am very unlikely to ever use ChatGPT for anything

Pretty sure it was yesterdays news last month if even. I think it's pretty cool, but AI and bot technology have always been interesting to me. -
what the fuck kinda meth head steals a tailgate?
PhilosipherStoned replied to little_girl_lost's topic in General Discussion
I stopped asking that after watching ring doorbell footage compilations.. I've seen people steal potted plants, flags, chairs whatever. Your porch is a methheads shopping center. -
Have aliens been abducted by anyone?

I might adbuct one if I see it. They better bring a battle buddy.. You can thank trash media like Ancient Aliens for my prejudice. -
Most men in Germany and Japan now sit to pee
PhilosipherStoned replied to Insipid's topic in General Discussion
Japanese men have a way better reason though. I'd sit down to piss too if it meant a free blow job. -
I might finally create an SCP.
PhilosipherStoned replied to PhilosipherStoned's topic in General Discussion
That's kind of a pending thing and also why that's just a sandbox article. I get what you mean it is easy to contain, but it's also kind of like SCP 079, and 4951 which have been observed communicating with other SCP's... 079 was even able to have a conversation with SCP 682 and several others during a containment breach, and that's my primary reason for having the Dex be a reverse engineered creation of them and maybe the already existing sentient calculator. It's basically an intelligence nightmare in the wrong hands just as a digital encyclopedia alone and I think it's going to be able to automatically connect to several networks it shouldn't be able to kind of like SCP-079 was said to do before containment...as well as the fact 079 is able to continually rewrite itself past it's hosting devices memory capacity etc. The level 4 clearance thing is just kind of place holder in the sandbox version special containment procedures for now because I intend the SCP to be sort of a skynet like thing in full conception. With it's creation being more of an unsanctioned project between several site administrators than something done with the approval of command, and the foundation as a whole not really sure how many SCP's were used in creating it or what the true goals of the AI are. It may end up getting itself terminated idk lol... I'm awaiting feedback/ greenlights from the wiki. That was just a point blank roughdraft fired into the sandbox for now. I'm hoping to get some decent feedback from more experienced authors that'll help me fine tune everything. Especially the origin story and containment procedures. Also whether or not it's a good fit to be used by a foundation MTF. What kind of shit happens with additional beta testing/experimentation? Creating an SCP is a fucking rabbithole.. One idea I've had to of sell the horror and up the SCP aspect of it is to have it bond to an MTF field agent like SCP 3769 does and function as an uncontrollable 'omnitrix' during a field op. turning the agent into various SCPs the device thinks is best suited to contain an anomoly. -

Here's a rough draft. The containment procedures are still a work in progress as is condensing that description... A lot of the [redacted]s are to make it easily insertable in various stories/timelines. Also to make it appear like higher officials have scrubbed some names out and inserted their two cents in the file as well as the ridiculous fact it was inspired by pokemon aka.. I might finally create an SCP.
PhilosipherStoned replied to PhilosipherStoned's topic in General Discussion
It's description is the easiest thing to write aside from the scientific jargon I want to use to describe it in detail. It's going to look like a standard graphing calculator with an all black foldable cover. The only markings to be found on it externally are the grey SCP logo enscribed on the front of it's black cover, and where the model number would be on a standard graphing calculator close to the output screen it'll feature it's SCP number instead. It'll probably be made as a sort of love child between a few iconic digital/AI SCPs... I've been working on a list of those in my head. Most notable so far is SCP 079, and SCP 4951 which you can find a link to in the SCP 079 file below. Initially it functions like a pokedex/warning device that is capable of warning it's holder when it comes within 200 meters of an SCP... but it's also capable of functioning in the presence of unknown and not yet classified SCP's generating not only a new SCP number and containment procedures but other detailed useful information about the anomoly that could only be gathered from extensive and often dangerous testing otherwise. Ive been thinking later models or initially I thought about presenting it as having an 'omnitrix' like ability that gets discovered later on making it's object class Keter to say the least and it's existence highly controversal... https://scp-wiki.wikidot.com/scp-079 https://scp-wiki.wikidot.com/scp-168 https://scp-wiki.wikidot.com/scp-3769 -

I believe so.. A fragment of the god...(which can be literally any man made mechanical material if I remember correctly) being used in it's creation is easy enough to work in for me, and it also gives the SCP a perfect way to be used in tales involving the CBG which are always epic. Thank you! The SCP inspired by area 51 has to connect to it as well.. Or it has a way of piggybacking off the same satellites it uses for it's goals...but of course the dex will ultimately give accurate scp information. It's just not going to be perfectly safe to use.. -

OMG they have to be connected! I love the idea of the church! but I think i'd have them just seek possession of the scp if anything. -
I might finally create an SCP.
PhilosipherStoned replied to PhilosipherStoned's topic in General Discussion
The more I think about it the harder it is to present the SCP I described as a stand alone entity... to hint at why I've tried to wait for it has to do with possible origin stories involving countless other gadget/technological SCPs and more importantly maybe even some analog filing type SCPs already in existence that it connects to giving it it's final abilities...which I admit are inspired from the Pokemon companies pokedex. I don't want my creation to be anywhere near as 'safe' class as a poke'dex would be, and there's several ways I want foundation staff to have to discover for themselves that it's power is better off being contained than used in most situations... So giving it a scientific and technological desciption, contanment procedures, etc. All those are easy, but how and who other than maybe Dr. Bright do I connect with it's creation? Several SCP's that deal with filing and human knowledge retention are existence at this point, and there are soo fucking many good ones involved it's hard to narrow down which ones I want to be a sort of fusion, but not fusion per say more so the device will need to connect to certain technology based SCPs that the foundation has a hard enough time containing in the first place. but I also want to include atleast a few anomolies the foundation has documented that are entirely anolog...but often mess with the operatives abilities to Secure, Contain, and Protect because those SCPs effect every operative... -
I've had the idea for one for long time, and I've came pretty close to actually writing it and fanfic around it, but due to it's nature and title alone I've always felt I needed more time to get it right as well as the most extensive knowledge of the community and listed SCPs as possible before actually submitting it since at face value it would be a handheld device serving as a digital encyclopedia of SCP's. Also I feel like it has to be connected to a controversal, but well renowned character within the wiki that often contests the 05 council and creates several problems for the foundation itself, Dr. Bright. One chunk at a time though. The SCP submission itself shouldn't be that hard to complete in terms of writing and publishing it to the wiki. Once I get it in then I'll worry about mixing it into the accepted cannon and all that other tedious shit I guess. So to keep this thread simple are you familiar with the online collaborative writing project known as SCP? If so please list your favorites. I'll start by posting what google still lists as the current most popular SCP. SCP 106

Life in the Hermit Kingdom of N. Korea, OR IS IT?
PhilosipherStoned replied to discolé monade's topic in Current Events
I've seen plenty of hilarious propaganda videos featuring NK, but the good ones are surprisingly hard to find when I'm looking for them. Maybe because I'm not using TOR lol. I guess I'll use this video as my contribution since I once watched a hilarious video promoting this airport at the nations capitol. This guy flies into NK for...Whatever reason. -
Does anyone know where I can find the thing?

That thing I sent ya? Well at least I know you didn't get it I guess.. God damn it I'm late.. -
Doesn't really seem that interesting, but I'm watching it I guess. Originally Baldwin and Hannah Gutierrez-Reed, the armorer responsible for weapons saftey on set were both given charges of manslaughter for the death of actress Halyna Hutchins, but 3 months later prosecutors dismissed the charges against Baldwin.
