So... idk. I think after recent covid escalations she's understandably redacted her eagerness to get together. I've been to tired to think of a counter plan the best option for us to hang out is probably at one of our houses.. Maybe mine. I don't even know her living situation yet I havent asked. Major cleaning to do before I'd ever let that happen though.

Fuck it I was going to try to be vague with my location, but meh.. In light of the situations posed by COVID-19 in Texas and across the United States, Mayor Wendell Dunlap and Hale County Judge David Mull issued emergency declarations for the City of Plainview and the County of Hale, respectively. Pursuant to §418.108(a) of the Texas Government Code A, a mayor or county judge can declare a local state of disaster and public health emergency. Highlights of the Declaration: • Limits the size of all social gatherings to no more than ten (10) people and mandates the cancellation of all such social gatherings with more than ten (10) people. • The use of the public eating and drinking areas and facilities at restaurants, bars retail eating establishments and food courts and visiting gyms or massage parlors is prohibited; provided, however, that the use of drive-thru, pickup or delivery services of restaurants, retail eating establishments and food courts food courts is permitted and highly encouraged during the term of this Declaration. • the limitation on the size of social gatherings applies to any event that brings together, or is likely to bring together, ten (10) or more persons at the same time in a single room or other single confined or enclosed space, such as, and without limitation, any auditorium, theatre, stadium (indoor or outdoor), arena or event center, meeting hall, Plainview Civic Center, conference center, cafeteria, or any other confined indoor or outdoor space; provided, however, it does NOT apply to the following: (a) public or private schools; (b) licensed day care facilities (c) weddings and funerals; (d) museums (so long as visitors are generally not within arm's length of one another for extended periods); (e) spaces where 10 or more persons may be in transit or waiting for transit, such as bus stops; (f) office space, hotels, or residential buildings; (g) grocery stores, shopping malls, outdoor markets, or other retail establishments where large numbers of people are present but where it is unusual for them to be within arm's length of one another for extended periods; (h) hospitals, medical facilities, and shelters; and (i) jails and detention centers. • The limitation on the size of social gatherings does not apply to places of worship but all such places of worship are highly encouraged to voluntarily comply with the limitations provided in this Declaration. These declarations also put into action the city’s emergency management plan and opens the possibility of reimbursement by the federal and state governments. “The City is taking steps to ensure the safety and well-being of our citizens,” said Mayor Wendell Dunlap. “We are grateful for our partnership with the County and their commitment to safety as well. We appreciate citizens patience as we navigate this ever-changing situation.” “This declaration is necessary to activate our response system, it is not a cause for panic,” said Hale County Judge David Mull. “We are working with all local entities to ensure we doing everything we can to ensure the health of our community.”

I should sleep to stave off a few typos.. zzz./ Wake me up when the Covidocalypse is over or what evs. Figures.. It's just my luck an epidemic would try to shut off the outside world right when a classy chick decides to hit me up. City officials just declared a pre-emptive state of emergency here...The statement I read just said no public gatherings of more than 10 people will be authorized, and public eating facilities .. fuck this... It's a wall of of text..The whole statement anyway. Do we even have food courts.. Define food courts.. Other than a Mcdonalds in a walmart I can't think of anything tlike that around here..

I'm too tired to sleep.. I've just been sitting here feeling like death. I think I might head to bed shortly. I had one day off in the last two weeks, and I only had that because I'm new, and a temp so I could play like I didn't know they were doing overtime again on sunday or some shit. I told this guy that's been showing me the ropes I'd be there, but when my alarm went off I chunked that shit. I should've just went I guess, but I'm still getting use to this factories work load after being more or less unemployed for a year. I mean I kept myself busy with a few negligable part time/ seasonal jobs during it, but meh.

I mean I guess my work in food production is sort of essential even if it's just flour products, but I'm also in the national guard, and my sergeants already asking for volunteers incase our battalion is activaed for disaster relief, and all that other jizz. Making sure you fools don't leave your filthy house maybe.. My house is actually dirty too, but whatever. I wish I could afford a quarantine... mush be nice to have pto for this shit.

Anybody here familiar with hair follicle tests?

They might before it's all said and done that's hard to say.... Factories, and plants would be the last to go anyway though I I'd think. Imagine if Walmart and other big shopping centers shut down their distribution centers... No more TP for yalls greedy ass bungholes... -

Ohh.. All they did was have a safety brief, and tell people how to wash there hands and to avoid contact as much as possible.. Also had a little educationl vid about the structure of the virus, and how it operates. This flour plant makes Mission tortillas and other products at some stage I think. It's a pretty well to do plant and company for what it is.. In the brief they said they are supposed to bring in extra sanitation workers or at least measures.. I think they are going to be hosing shit down regularly and "sanatizing" shit, but even if they postpone operation it's good to try to get my foot in the door. -

I've already been working the job for 2 weeks through a temp agency. Them hiring me themselves just means I do the same job and get paid $4 dollars more an hour. Of course if I fail this test I'm probably done with them and that temp agency not sure. -
Every day, my schedule loses a job
PhilosipherStoned replied to Rogue_Alphonse's topic in Free-For-All
That reminds me of my cable contracting job.. what at the first of the week might look like a busy ass schedule with me on the grind would quickly turn into me just driving around burning gas when people cancelled trouble calls or decided to take their equipment back themselves, and discontinue their service through the office/ phone numbers.. If they cancelled their service at all, and I disconnectd their house I would make a small flat fee from the job, but that alone rarely made a job worth it in my small area. Sometimes I'd do exellent, but bad weather + all the people changing their minds made that shit stupid as a contractor looking at the position as a whole. -
I think it's only beginning to actually take root here.. The metropolitan area closest to me just now has a few confirmed cases, but the way people are probably ill equipped for this sort of thing here could effect the level of danger..

I mean the pipe I use fits a little joint worth in it prolly, and I loaded it up after work last week a good bit. Since I cut it almost in half and shared with a dude it only lasted like maybe 3 or 4 days though, and only lasted that long because I worked all week.. It wasn't that much I just toked after work out of a bowl a few days last week. With urinalysis I've passed under worst circumstances I'm just trippin' about a hair follicle. I've been reproccessing flour, and breaking a sweat doing it tossing 50 pound flour bags into a hopper so that's good to cleanse my system for a urine test. I've been trying to exercise on top of that. I just don't think any of the normal shit like that I do does as much to help pass a hair follicle test... Hopefully it's just starting to enter my hair follicles, and it being my first time this year I'm also hoping it's not substantial enough to make a positive. -

So you had to do two diff. tests @molarbear? I never asked, but I'm fairly certain you don't toke. At least not in any way regularly so I'm sure you were fine. I mean I'm trying to get past rumors.. There are labs, and testers out there that can give a crazy time line of drug use through hair follicle testing from what I've been reading, but I'm pretty sure this company just mandates the most basic 90 day hair follicle for basic empoyees. -
Can't handle anymore Covid memes.. I think it's safe to say Covid-19 is the most viral thing of 2020 so far. I mean even if it isn't literally the most viral leave it to the internet./

*Also for the sake of this thread topic, and the science of drug testing, and knowing what happens when labs violate your shit it takes 5-10+ days for recent cannabis use to metabolize it's way into the area of the hair follicle closest to your scalp.. It depends a lot on the speed your hair grows, and your type of hair. Personally I think even urine tests are unethical, but hair follicles definitely are in my opinion and unless you are applying for something critical like DOT, aviation, and things like that employers shouldn't even be allowed to require hair follicle tests. Even urine tests constitute a breach of privacy since both give the tester way more information about the donor than whether or not they smoked a blunt in the last month. -

I've seen a lot of shit like this even from more scientific sources.. “One of the stand-out benefits of hair drug testing is its sensitivity and its long window of detection of up to 3 months of prior drug use. Because of this, hair testing is often referred to as a ‘lifestyle test.’ However, that long look-back window is not necessarily the best way to detect a single instance of drug use in scenarios like post-accident testing. Instead, hair testing is more informative of a repeated pattern of drug usage during the broader detection window. The detection of a single drug-use event is complicated by the extremely small percentage of the total dose incorporated into the growing hair during that single use event.” I'm still sweatin' I'm not going to sleep easy tonight with the dread of not knowing if I'll pass. Plus since this paper was dated for today now I have to make an excuse for why I didn't go there after I got off work, but with the flour mill being located like 7-10 miles out of town, and that clinic closing in just 2-1/2hrs after they gave me the paper I should be able to make an excuse. Going to be shampooing and bleaching my hair every chance I get within.. practicality.. I'm not trying to destroy that shit, and smoking a few bowls of regi over a few days shouldn't allow for there to be a high concentration of thc in my hair follicles anyway. I'm just so nervous since this is the first time I've been required to do a hair follicle.. With no actual experience passing one after recently smoking there is no way for me to know for sure. Wish me luck.
