I didn't find anything out at all I just got about what I expected. The phrase "active" duty hardly applied to my work day today but leadership at my unit seemed to be trimming a lot of loose ends, and still planning shit though. It can be hard to predict the path shit like this is going to take as planning evolves though. I'm sure you are aware of what I mean by that if you work as some kind of dispatcher or you have in the past..

Sarcasm alert. WTF the state of my life is unbelievable, but there are some silver linings that are hard to overlook I guess. This year has not been good for my outlook on society and antisocial tendencies nonetheless.

Yeah I'd try reinstalling the program and it's related drivers before I started a major overhaul on the os and checking your hardware. etc especially if you can save your work in a retrievable format. Could be something as simple as a driver bug or error, and there's been a patch or update recently that hasnt been added to the support pages for the program. That's happened to me with a lot of sound and video editing programs.

Might I suggest using this as a good time for music therapy or to catch up with social media and the aspects of it you can use from home to share and "market" your specific outlet. It could be a good time for you to catch up on or build an online presence for it for sure.. I was thinking of doing the same, but ironically the pandemic seems to have been giving me work more than taking it away from me.

Hmmm hopefully your os wouldn't be the problem that could be a sign of more things to come, but if you arent experiencing these issues outside of the program I don't know if I'd resort to reinstalling the os until I did what distorted said and made sure it's not just that program.

It does seem like something that would likely be an issue with the pc's graphic processor and/or related drivers. Did you mention the operating system you're running? Also I'm sure you've probably tried playing with different resolutions and making other graphic adjustments to your monitor, but also playing with diff resolution settings on the monitor itself and testing diff. monitor sizes/arrangements might aid you in the troubleshooting of the problem. I've definitely never used the program you mentioned it could also be that you need to customize the display settings in the actual program itself to your monitor most programs of that nature have so many adjustments you can make for the task bars and control displays it's hard to say really.

Like someone already pointed out NG soldiers are protected by law from being fired by employers especially when a nationwide emergency calls for them to go on orders. As for my other responsibilities I'm pretty much stuck with finding someone to watch my house and pets if I have to go somewhere far for an extended amount of time.. So far they've just been putting people on standby with orders just in case stuff really hit's the fan. The other guys from my section that volunteered have pretty much been just chilling at the compound from what I've heard.

I really don't want to go I'm a shut in anyway, and I've been half ass enjoying this shit.. That's part of being in the national guard though. I guess it's time to stop shamming even if I only got to enjoy a breif little lay off during this.

From what I've seen these guys havent really done shit, but they are getting a free covid test, and active orders so we can be prepared to aid emergency response, and things like that. For all I know they could just have us handing out food and toilet paper before it's all done.

I'm going on active orders in lue of the coronavirus, and I have to report tomorrow morning. I almost feel like I should've kept my mouth shut, but they kept asking if anyone else could go, and I texted my sergeant back that I could go when he asked a bit earlier. Of course I'm really not that excited about this.

I mean I actually still have my ancestry account it says my grandfather was born in Elk city Oklahoma.. I just said Tahlequah because my mother showed me a government ID from when my grandfather was a policeman that said the birth place was Tahlequah. I wouldn't be surprised if they were all white though so I've always thought the idea of a dna test would be interesting. It'd be awesome just to know whether my grandfather and gg where cherokee at all or just white since they had white names... I remember seeing their names along side the names of their wives on census reports searched through ancestry years ago that had them listed as white, but then I read something that said a lot of native american heads of household were listed as white on the censuses for years due to that being the policy..

My great grandfather on my mothers side had the first and middle name Grover Cleveland. According to my mother he was suppose to be full Cherokee. I found him on ancestry and what she said seems to check out. He worked in oil and married a white lady. My grandfather was born in Tahlequah Oklahoma. I think it might have even been on the reservation. I was able to find some records on my great grandmother through ancestry. They ended up with a lot of kids because she already had like 3 kids before they got together. It kind of got hard to verfiy passed them though, and I don't have any information on my fathers side since my mother divorced him when I was really young and they went seperate ways. If he was cherokee the Grover Clevland name makes sense. Grover Cleveland did a lot of work as president to repair relations with native americans including supporting the Dawes general allotment.. I mean supposingly it was suppose to be a lot better at aiding native americans, but it wasn't able to get enough votes until it got amended to allow left over land to be publically sold, and provided for native americans to basically be assimulated into the american lifestyle.. I've messed around with it before, and it seems like it can be hard to trust. I think I did manage to find a few actual relatives, but it's been forever since I used it. They were sending out dna kits for free? That sounds crazy.
