  1. Exactly. Some posters only post complaint threads in multiple sub-forums across this board. Normally, I scroll down the board, browse through a few threads, then leave.
  2. Yeah, I know I'm complaining right now. With this çommunity, the complaining is just as contagious as the flu epidemic. LOL!
  3. Yes, I have. Most of them don't want to come back for some of the same reasons I just mentioned. Honestly, who can really blame them? This çommunity doesn't exactly have a fun vibe to it. Sometimes I try to do something that's fun but when you're surrounded by buzz kills and Debbie Downers, it defeats the purpose.
  4. It's a little hard to contribute, when you are in the middle of working, doing things offline, and have nothing to contribute to a discussion. If neither is the case, there is browsing through multiple sub-forums and threads with the same posters creating threads to complain for the sake of complaining. Otherwise, there are those other posters who love posting in threads, that were meant to be fun but were derailed by the biggest complainers and instigators. Probably a good 98% of the time, I browse through most threads and sub-forums on here, then I leave. Also, when most of your friends have left because they out grew the community, it defeats the point of posting. A lot of this factors into whether it's better to lurk than to post.
  5. Wow! Does Medicine still exist? I haven't seen them, since The Crow.
  6. Just thought I would pop in and say, that I posted a thread in Music explaining the music references in JoJo's Bizarre Adventure for Phantom Blood, Battle Tendency, and Stardust Crusaders.
  7. I would've posted this thread sooner, but was unsure of when and where to post it. I didn't know if I should post this in Toonami, since JoJo's Bizarre Adventure is currently a Toonami Anime, or to post this in Music because the series is highly music-oriented. In the past, I already said at least a few times, that younger viewers would not necessarily catch all the music references in this franchise. If you are 30 years old or younger and only listen to a certain music genre or sub-genre, the references probably went over your head. For example, did you already know that the main villain, Dio Brando is named after Ronnie James Dio? Some of us already knew this. However, if you are not a fan of Metal, never was exposed to or grew up listening to Dio over the last 3 decades, and happen to be much younger, chances are highly great, that you didn't catch the reference. Anyway, here are 3 videos explaining the music references in JoJo's Bizarre Adventure for Phantom Blood, Battle Tendency, and Stardust Crusaders.
  8. I read that Stardust Crusaders supposedly has 48 episodes and was wondering, if this season would continue on the block. I wasn't sure if the other episodes were dubbed yet and expected Stardust Crusaders to go on hiatus, so that Viz could finish dubbing the next episodes. Hopefully, all the episodes got dubbed.
  9. Sometimes the references go by so fast, that you miss them. This is especially when they are really quick and subtle references.
  10. Yeah, it was that scene when they all were at Avdol's father's house and he was feeding his chicken's, Prince and Michael. Viewers who are 30 years old and younger and don't know much about music will probably have a more difficult time trying to understand the music references in JoJo's Bizarre Adventure. Because I am a music lover and grew up during the 1980's and '90s, I can easily recognize who and what these characters are talking about. Also, the stand that Polaneriff was fighting with was named after the singer, Cameo. Oh God! 2 decades later and I still hate Cameo's song "Word Up."
  11. Watching Black Clover and JoJo's Bizarre Adventure make me laugh, which is something I can use after a stressful day.
  12. Nope! Depending on the way Toonami's schedule is arranged, I watch old music videos on MTV Classic, while waiting for certain Toonami shows. I get a bigger kick out of watching JoJo's Bizarre Adventure because there's always a character named after retro artists and bands. Speaking of JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, did anyone catch the Michael Jackson and Prince name drops in the latest episode? Michael and Prince used to be friends. I'm surprised there was no name drop of Vanity.
  13. I've been meaning to watch Blue Exorcist's 2nd season, but haven't had the chance to watch it with my hectic schedule. Did the 2nd season at least cover more about Shima?
  14. Black Clover, JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, and Naruto Shippuden are the only shows I'm currently watching on Toonami. The rest of the current shows, I don't care to watch especially not Dragon Ball.
  15. I forgot to mention Blue Exorcist. Both seasons should be aired starting with a re-airing of Season 1 in its entirety. After re-airing Season 1, follow it up with Season 2.
  16. What is the next show to end on the block after Lupin? Since DeMarco is on that kick of re-airing older shows, he should bring back Witch Hunter Robin. It's not like it got played up the ass like Cowboy Bebop and Inuyasha. Otherwise, there are still other shows, that have been overlooked throughout the last 17 years. Full Metal Panic, Black Blood Brothers, Devil May Cry, and Tenjo Tenge are just a few examples. There's also Shakugan no Shana, Kaze no Stigma, Black Butler, Beelzebub, the Fate/Stay Night franchise, etc.
  17. Spot on! I purposely leave my TV turned off, until the Dragon Ball franchise is done for the night. DeMarco blows this entire franchise WAY too damn hard. It's overkill.
  18. Sorry about being late to the party on here. I hope you had a good time!:)

      You're welcome.

  19. Happy Birthday, Rogue and many more!
  20. Hot showers can also feel very refreshing. It's like getting a major cleaning.
  21. I take hot showers but not scalding hot. Someone must have a high tolerance for pain to take showers that hot. The only time I turn a shower on that hot is when I'm cleaning it and/ trying to kill something like a centipede or spider. As soon as they come into contact with scalding hot water, they die on the spot.
  22. Rub on some body lotion and hair moisturizer.
