Every time I hear this song now, American Psycho comes to mind. Well, that and Phil Collins' "Susudio."

For nearly 30 years, Tim Curry's portrayal of Pennywise The Clown has been the primary source of many people having coulrophobia. Even though there have always been people with a fear of clowns, most are quick to say that Curry's portrayal traumatized them.

The last several years have been rough, especially these last 2 years.

At the moment, I am thankful for the amount of sanity that I still have left.

Hmm... this is tough, since most don't scare me. This is all that comes to mind, right now. The Gremlins franchise. They are so hideous (mainly their eyes), that they're frightening to stair at. Ever see something/someone so hideous that you scream? The original IT from 1990. The spiders freaked me out. Speaking of spiders, does Arachnophobia count? Just about anything with spiders. This can most definitely be said for that Spider Gremlin named Mohawk in Gremlins 2: The New Batch.

What Is Your Least Favorite Horror Sub-genre(s)?
PurgatoryGirl replied to PurgatoryGirl's topic in Horror
I simply can't stand the Found Footage sub-genre for the reasons, that you and some others have already mentioned in this thread. I think Cloverfield is the worst Found Footage Horror film next to 1999's The Blair Witch Project. Is it just me or does Cloverfield look like Godzilla meets Aliens in a shitty Found Footage film featuring an obnoxious cast of attention-whoring, 20-somethings? -

What Horror Movie/Show Are You Watching Right Now?
PurgatoryGirl replied to DragonSinger's topic in Horror
Damn it. Because I had to go run and do something offline, I missed the first 30 minutes of The Exorcist on The Sundance Channel. Better luck next time with seeing it in its entirety. -

Politics can hurt business and cause those to lose their clients, customers, and fans especially when people have to constantly read and hear about 1 political party with negativity biased 24/7. That's partly why somebody launched a campaign on Twitter called #WalkAway. The media and social media are overkill with the in your face politics.

Not that I'm going to watch SAO, but those running the block have their own agenda whether it is political or otherwise. If more viewers complain about which Shonen or Seinen Anime they want, it will eventually get on the block. It's really a matter of if DeMarco agrees with certain fans and if it fits his personal liking.

Twitter should be re-branded as a platform for everyone to rant about Trump 24/7. When I briefly joined and used it last year, that was ALL they were doing. Originally, I thought I was mostly joining Twitter to generate a following for my own content but a nice portion of my followers were politically divisive. That's if they weren't book publishers and literary agents only fixating on how they could score their next book deal, when they didn't bother visiting my website to learn more about me as a writer or my background.

This Is Actually A Thanksgiving Horror Movie?!
PurgatoryGirl replied to PurgatoryGirl's topic in Horror
With the way things are going, I'll be lucky if I get a chance to watch or do anything for Thanksgiving. Welp, there's always Christmas. I haven't yet decided if I should post mini-reviews about retro Christmas Slashers in this sub-forum.- 28 replies

This Is Actually A Thanksgiving Horror Movie?!
PurgatoryGirl replied to PurgatoryGirl's topic in Horror
I don't know if I would find this movie funny. It doesn't give me that vibe. It's looks about as contrived as CBS's programming. LOL!- 28 replies

Whether it's about what to air on Toonami or his political views, Jason DeMarco is extremely biased. This can also be said about some of the voice actors like Steven Blum and Patrick Seitz. Even though I like them for their voice acting, I don't care about their political views and don't like every series they're in. Before deleting my Twitter account last summer, I started unfollowing more voice actors, companies, celebrities, etc. because they waste way too much time ranting about Trump. Regardless of what political party they support, they fail to realize that they alienate and repulse other customers, fans, friends, and followers. They don't realize much less care that more people are leaving social media because all their so-called "political activism" is divisive. When it comes to entertainment and business, people should stay apolitical.

OMG! After all these years, I can't believe this is actually happening! I'm so excited! Yay!
