  1. Did anyone post this? https://www.nbcdfw.com/news/politics/lone-star-politics/literally-anybody-else-us-presidential-candidate/3498994/ I know who I'm voting for.
  2. I like this thread.
  3. I unironically considered a follow up meme to suggest you would sidestep my guesses with a deflection to Hamas. You did surprise me a little, though. Didn't expect the double down of Hamas deflection straight back into Israel ass-kissing. I mean, there are like 4 settings: 1. Step on me, Netanyahu 2. Don't look at that war crime Israel committed, look at this other thing 3. It's Hamas' fault Israel is targeting innocent people [just like when daddy hit mommy because a stranger slapped her booty, so really, did she even leave him a choice?] 4. Some variation in there, of course. Like Israel/Netanyahu/IDF are basically interchangeable, much like Hamas and Palestinian. Anyway, my bet was between completely ignoring it or deflecting (as opposed to a puff piece out of spite). Still, I wasn't thinking over the top enough. I didn't consider the obvious..... Israel/Netanyahu taint inhaling, blaming victims, and deflecting to Hamas? At the same time? Honestly, I absolutely should've expected it. It's just most people aren't so shameless and would probably just slink away and wait for anything that can be twisted into a W.
  4. That's all I remember. I just thought about it. Because I was thinking about dumb life events and that was one of the weirdly wholesome, a little concerning ones as opposed the typical dumb life event. In that it wasn't remembered for the trauma.

  6. The time everyone in Pod 6 spent a full day being confused about why a screenshot from @André Toulon had a time that didn't make sense, only to be collectively reminded of the concept of time zones.
  7. I absolutely fucking detest going to grocery stores in general.
  8. What did the pirate say on his eightieth birthday? Aye, matey!
  9. He even waves like a sieg heil.
  10. ^Has not responded a single time to the many reports of the IDF raping and murdering civilians. Almost as if you only acknowledge atrocities when it's convenient.... Like someone who, how do I put this? Doesn't care. You don't actually care, so quit pretending. It's little more than a nuisance to anyone with even a speck of sincerity. Your incessant fart-huffing does little more than reduce the credibility of anything you post. You don't get to claim the IDF has been flawless in its response, only to ignore when they do the same shit as literal terrorists. Is rape, torture, and indiscriminate massacre the perfect solution to rape, torture, and indiscriminate massacre? Is starvation tactics used on civilians? Evacuations with timeframes physically impossible and into areas that will then be bombed? Things considered war crimes by most of the world? I'm looking forward to you disingenuously cherrypicking the least important piece of this post humanly possible to sling a cheap, mindnumbingly stupid gotcha back. I hope it matches the dumbassery you displayed when you invoked the holocaust to label all opposition Israel's openly genocidal regime as antisemitic at me.... a jew. I'll settle for second dumbest, I know that one's gonna be hard to beat, but I believe in you!
  11. *starts argument* *everyone joins* *leaves fight* *everyone else keeps fighting*
  12. Alright, man. I think we're taking this a bit far. Don't get me wrong, Icarus can push some buttons and be abrasive, but I don't think that makes him a bad dude on its own. We all have pissed each other off at some point and usually for far more serious or idiotic reasons. Jingai comparisons have their validity; however, Jingai strikes me as significantly more of a bad faith actor than Icarus. It's not really fair to treat them as one to one when they ultimately are different people and the actions of Jingai are starkly more malicious.
  13. I even sold the rights to Hollywood.
  14. ..... This one time in grade school we got done with morning announcements and right as it ended, I suddenly let one out that made my chair quake. I think that might have been the loudest one I've ever done and it was like 30 seconds of dead silence while this deafening explosion of flatulence blasts into everyone's ears. There was no hiding it, but it was very funny.
  15. Fixed for accuracy.
  16. I'm not sure why you're so proud of forgetting things.
  17. Isn't it a bit childish to assume all criticism of your actions are purely nonsensical and insist opinions of you hold no value? You're unironically comparing, "Bro, that was a douchey post," to "You beat your wife!" and that's downright dishonest.
  18. Nobody said you have to care what people on the internet say. I'm suggesting it was phrased in a way that was very easy to read as hostile. It's not your responsibility to control reactions, but a part of basic human communication is making an effort to actually convey what you mean. It isn't a one way street where everyone should be expected to understand nuances of a post that didn't present the nuances. You aren't "too old" to take into consideration criticism, nor does criticism need to be polite to be valid.
  19. What does this mean, then? As in, what is the relationship between the first sentence and the second if not a point of derision at the people in question? I'm not the only person to read it this way, nor is it the first time this type of thing has come up. Writing it off as my imagination is exactly the what I'm talking about. I couldn't have a valid reason for the interpretation, could I? It must be a group hallucination.
  20. I'm sure there is a conversation to be had. I wasn't really planning to get into the weeds of it since I'm no economics wizard and was only commenting on the reductive reasoning.
  21. You can call it personal all you want, you're shitting on people your plainly have no interest in understanding out of sheer arrognance. You can puff your chest out all you want, we all see how pathetic it is. It also wouldn't be reasonable for you to drag stranger's eating habits into economy conversations, yet here we are.
  22. I never said it was intelligent. I'd argue most of America's mega-wealthy are 2nd and 3rd (or more) generation of wealth and fundamentally don't understand the limitations of their power. Or have simply been rich for so long they've forgotten what the outside world is like. I'm not confident that dipshits like Elon Musk or Donald Trump have any concept of what losing power could look like, until now that it's too late to fix. Jingle some coins and they'll be your best friend until you hurt their fragile feelings.
  23. None of this has to do with what I'm responding to. My "argument" is that you come off like a smug elitist who's more concerned with looking down on people's decisions than recognizing even the most basic of reasons they may have made those decisions. A criticism heavily exemplified by this out of touch, pompous response of yours. You consistently demonstrate a disinterest in anyone's experience beyond your own. It's all politics, all the time.
