No, I'm arguing that making a bad product doesn't inherently equate to the desimation of an industry. Ex: McDonald's makes bad burgers that sell imcredibly well. Burger industry is fine, the palate is fine. McDonald's is still junk. I'm not, strictly speaking, agreeing with the original post. I'm contesting Cucket's interpretation. He's also wrong about the definition of legitimate ads. The creators are encouraged to have in-video adverts (god I hate that shit more than anything, actually), but some people get monetization from the commercials generated onto their videos. Commercials that Adblock blocks.

While some of it is grey-area, not all. Last I checked, Hulu and non-subscription Crunchyroll don't run well with Adblock. I mean.... Hulu doesn't run well in general, but worsened with Adblock.

I only see ads on Youtube when using non-Adblocked computers. Most streaming websites request Adblock to be off so that their ads will play. Seems like you're doing something with these programs most of us aren't.
