  1. I'm saying they don't give him the ability to kill almost anywhere and get away with it. The Zoldycks, for example, are effectively bounty hunters. They don't kill unless they're hired to take out a bounty - or rather they aren't supposed to and aside from Illumi, who goes out of his way to cover his tracks, they generally don't. Who do you think provides the Nen users? And there's a literal sequence in the show where a character attacks civilians and, despite being a Hunter, the Association sends people to hunt him. Netero really doesn't care about anyone that doesn't entertain him, so there's that.
  2. Yeah, that's definitely the intent. I don't necessarily dislike the obvious stuff, more that I liked the ambiguous stuff more.
  3. It wasn't even very good in the first half of season one. Mostly boring and inconsistent.
  4. None of this answered the question: Who else is going to monitor Hisoka?
  5. Daos, I'm going to reply to you this one time. Simple question: Who else is going to police someone like Hisoka? Are civilian cops going to protect society from Hisoka? Are normal, everyday non-Nen users going to police Hisoka? -_'
  6. I like Cosima, but kinda got annoyed with them Also,
  7. Didn't realize it was coming back so soon. Interested in where they'll go with it, slightly concerned with the hallucinations that are bound to be very present. Primarily because those have been hit-or-miss with me. The ambiguity at the end of S1 and throughout S2 were usually [not always] more interesting to me than the more blunt approach in recent seasons. Those still have some great scenes, but the more unreliable presentation with bigger patches of blanked out narrative early on I guess felt more engaging overall. So I'm cautiously optimistic about the new season. Mostly out of personal taste.
  8. I'm caught up. It's pretty good. Allison should be the protagonist.
  9. He makes the same 3 points over and over no matter how many times each individual point has been thoroughly addressed. I've stopped replying to him altogether out of sheer boredom with it.
  10. They both suck. Subway functions as a guilty pleasure from time to time. Domino's doesn't function as any kind of pleasure that doesn't begin with "dis".
  11. Gotta go to the store to find the 5 biggest dildos possible to use on Zeni's butt simultaneously.
  12. Whatever you say, Captain Mangina.

enad[/member] Possible, but hate crimes against this particular demographic was already absurdly high. Like, 50% of the demographic gets targeted kind of high. poof[/member] glad both your friends were okay in the end. It's pretty shitty how common this sort of thing is.
  14. We all know Naraku4656 is the biggest pussy on these boards.
  15. But did they name one after the male vag?
  16. Nothing unreasonable about disliking a show like FT.
  17. Well, at least they didn't air Fairy Tail.....
  18. Is fuggs still having periods at her age?
  19. If they call it Inauguration, I'll be forced to watch it to see to fruition of your thread.
  20. Remember when Jman liked something? I don't.
  21. It's.... literally been confirmed, imchapp.in[/member] http://www.latimes.com/entertainment/tv/la-et-st-american-horror-story-election-theme-20170215-story.html
  22. I don't think this should matter much to anyone that knows they're watching different versions.
  23. Fair enough. I'm in the minority on preferring a big chunk of '99 over 2011, anyway. To the point where on most arcs, beside Exams ('99 does better) and Greed Island (liked 2011 more), I can't really pick between the better version, since they're both good in different ways. At minimum, though, I would recommend giving the first episode of '99 a shot. It's an important part of Gon's motivation to go on the journey in the first place that got totally omitted from 2011 for some weird reason. I suppose it creates some minor continuity issues when it comes back up, but nothing so significant it can't be overlooked to treat the '99 as canon in those regards (like, literally just a couple lines of dialogue that contradict it and a brief scene added to fill in the missing gap). And it's a pretty good episode in its own right. Even gives Mito a bit of depth despite her lack of presence in the larger plot.
