Also, remember, WB doesn't wanna pay for stuff like that, and WMG isn't even in the same corporate umbrella anymore.
-
Okay, even through Gunn says he wants everything gone, MAWS is a great show, and the show trending is totally understandable. They got a hit on their hands. I'll tuning in every week.

It looks good and cool. I mean, WB has significant ties to anime, so this should be alright. I'll watch live with my grandma.

WIT Studio and DC teaming up to bring us more Isekai nonsense
KageRageX replied to 3ngag3's topic in Toonami & [adult swim]
Another thing about DC animation adaptations, in this AU project I'm working on, I'm managing to come up with various ideas for DC adaptations, what I have so far: Gotham Girls: The Animated Series(2004-2006; Cartoon Network's Toonami-which in my AU, would continue to air on weekday afternoons in addition to expanding to Saturday nights). Lobo: RAW(2004-2007; Adult Swim-which IMTL, would get significantly more support, main reasons is the AOL merger not happening in my TL as well as a huge merger). Krypto the Superdog Dial H for Hero(2005-2008; Kids' WB/Cartoon Network-replacement for Ben 10) Legion of Superheroes(2006-2009; Kids' WB-which continues after 2008) Aquaman: The Animated Series(2006-2010; Cartoon Network's Toonami block/Friday night fantasy/adventure block-IMTL, Toonami continues after 2008 on CN). The Superman(2007-2010; Kids' WB) Titans West(2007-2010; Cartoon Network's Toonami) Hellblazer(2007-2010; Adult Swim AcTN-which ITTL, would mean more than just boring anime that tanks massively in the ratings!) V for Vandetta(2007-2008; Adult Swim) Plastic Man(2008-2012; Kids' WB) Batman: The Brave and the Bold(2008-2011; Kids' WB) Kamandi: The Last Boy on Earth(2008-2010; Cartoon Network's Friday night fantasy/adventure block-separate from Toonami ITTL). Sandman(2009-2014; Adult Swim} And this is just for the 2000s! -

A Blue Beetle animated series has potential. Don't know who The Question is... One should have been made in the 90s. Or at least a earlier equivalent of Green Lantern: The Animated Series. Truly a shame because the new movie had the potential to be good, but because modern DC movies are mostly crap outside of the animated ones(and the Synderverse fans don't deserve anything), we'll never get a Flash adaptation. Why they didn't make one based on that DTV movie in 2009/10/11 or in the early 2000s, I don't know. I don't get the whole edgelord garbage thing. But a new mature Justice League series, I'd like. They had YEARS to do that. That ship has LONG since sailed........ Me too, but IMHO, it's a guarnateed mediocre hit/massive bomb on AS. Should have kept that one on CN, but I am watching the premiere live. We'll see....... -
7/15 Toonami Update: FLCL Reruns added

Really? Sony should rot. -
Okay. That was a decent episode. If it was it's only season, then it was quite a good show. If it gets renewed, I'll be waiting for more.

We created a new forum! It's named Funblast! Check it out! RN, it might be empty, but with more people joining, we can turn it into a good forum. https://funblast.freeforums.net/ -
My man! I'd assume that given some rumors I saw on the old Anime Superhero Forum boards, I thought Miguzi should have moved to SatAM. I'd assume that Miguzi could have lasted until, 2016 or even 2021 at the latest.

Cool! Can't wait! Is Futurama still running on Adult Swim?
-
I know it's dead. I thought this could be a thread for nostalgia. It has PLENTY to do with Toonami, Hell, Zatch Bell and One Piece even aired on the block. Yeah, but maybe the block could have moved to Saturday mornings.

For those that forgot or don't know or remember, Miguzi was a programming block that aired on Cartoon Network on weekday afternoons between April 19th, 2004 and May 25th, 2007, replacing Toonami, which moved to Saturday nights. Basically, I felt that Miguzi should have a thread of it's own. Also, the question should come up: What If Miguzi continued?

Cool! One thing I did learn was that back in 2004, Toonami was originally planned to air from 7PM-12AM on Saturdays with Adult Swim Action from 12-5AM, then from 7PM-2AM with ASA on Thursdays, then to it's final slot of 7-11PM(later 9-11PM).

Same here, even tho I didn't post as often as I do on alternatehistory.com......... Cool! Hey, I heard a lot of stuff about Toonami on there, and that's a major reason why I'm here now.

Are you sure that the Unicorn marathon on 7/1 is starting at 11? If it is, then I'm VERY good at making fantasy schedules and could see this happen: 11:00: My Adventures with Superman; 11:30: new anime; 12:00: Dr. Stone; 12:30: One Piece; 1:00: Naruto Shippuden; 1:30: My Hero Academia; 2:00: Food Wars; 2:30: Unicorn: Warriors Eternal Or just keeping it 12-3 apply everything except Food Wars.
