This is funny because my current laptop is almost 10 years old and I'm still using it because an idiot told me laptops have a 3-5 year life span without modifications. A lie, I said. I only have to keep it 1 year and 6 months to fulfill my internal bet of a full decade. The dvd tray fell out and is super glued in place, the HD falls out, the keyboard is shit, and the screen suffers from extreme flicker, but it's still kicking. Oh and I had to take it apart because the fan was attacking the MB. I have 2 other laptops and a tower, but I am literally going to use that one until it falls apart just to prove that with proper care, a laptop isn't a less than 5 year investment

I've had that happen on desktop....The quickest fix is to tap the insert button on your keyboard....assuming it's QWERTY...Not sure why this happens, but it's only mildly annoying. As far as the mobile site, I only use it if I'm a passenger in a car and REALLY bored because I hate the mobile interface.
