See, I can get denying me because what's causing my swollen passages isn't on the forefront of health concerns because it's kinda rare. But in your case, I can't even fathom them denying it, even if it is a power chair. Clearly I don't know the rules when it comes to that, but an older person needing an automatic chair should be a no brainier. Jfc, but I know all too well what you mean... insurance seems to have become a real joke after I could finally afford it. It's literally like "hey, I need this surgery to help me breath, will you pay for it" Insurance: "breathing is a cosmetic luxury....we got $120 on your inhaler tho"

I dunno.... I've always been skeptical about how anxiety is a go to diagnosis these days. I won't bore you with a long take but my Dr. put me on anxiety meds about 7 years ago, but I never felt any different anxiety wise, but the symptoms I went in for (insomnia, lethargy, self sabotage) all went away after I quit drinking...I haven't taken the pills since 2018. So while it may be true the alcohol did indeed cause anxiety, further medicating wasn't not the answer....Therapy was never mentioned.
