I got covid in November 2020 and lost both my senses of taste and smell for about four days. By Thanksgiving, it was about fifty percent back to normal. By Christmas, it was maybe 80 percent. I think I never gained full functionality back, maybe 90 percent now. I also got covid again in November 2022 and oddly enough, my taste and smell did not get affected.

I worked out too hard today. I reached cardio zone 4, and my heart rate stayed at zone 2 for an hour after my workout was done. I still have a lot of room for improvement.

Day 65: Two months into the new year and I'm still going strong. My BMI finally went under 40, meaning I am no longer morbidly obese. I was close to reaching 300 pounds at the end of last year. I am very proud that I have avoided that fate. I have lost approximately 18 pounds so far. If I continue at this rate, I should be able to have a BMI lower than 30 by the end of the year.

Nothing. I ate two samosas for lunch. Maybe I'll do a proper fast every leap day.

I'm fasting all day. I guess that's one way to make this day special. Praise be to . . . uh, Ra.

Didn't realize there was a thread made about this. I used to go to Wendy's frequently before covid. I rarely go there these days, and this news has made never want to go there again. Prime example of enshittification.

My heart rate no longer rises up as much as I want it to when I exercise. It's a good sign that I'm getting more fit, but it also means I need to push myself harder, which I find to be annoying. I guess it prevents complacency.

Tried this place called Mission BBQ. Not bad. Not many good options for BBQ in this part of the country.
