I.e. the only kind of Banana you can buy in America (other than Plantains, but those aren't sweet and you use them for cooking) apparently they have a better tasting Variety in Canada and Australia called a goldfinger banana not that it matters to me....since I'm allergic to Bananas edit: also interesting tidbit, we used to eat a Better tasting Banana variety called a "Gros Michel" Banana, but then Cavendish became more cost effective because they were immune to a disease that Gros Michel Bananas were beginning to develop Cavendish's basically taste like shitty Gros Michel bananas, and the Artificial Banana flavor, tastes like Gros Michel bananas of course now Cavendish bananas are going "extinct" so...who knows
