I actually find the Dragonball type humor that Super tries to include to be a serious problem the issue is that GT did the same thing, and was horrible....so why did Toei think doing the exact same thing a second time would be better? DBZ and DB had radically different styles, DB leaned more towards Comedy while DBZ leaned more towards action, and frankly trying to have both at once does not work, and that should've been made obvious by GT's widely panned nature

the entire Zamasu arc was meaningless from start to finish so it's hard to count anything that happened in that arc as even being canon since none of that arc mattered at all and even though you have a point about them only being where the are now because of Vegeta the show has never once given Vegeta credit for that hell they even had Bulma of all people say Vegeta was a worthless fuck up in the Zamasu arc, and up till that arc she'd been very supportive of him
